Do you wanna drive in Japan? Hi, I'm Ken Suzuki, an official driving instructor and examiner certified by Japan Police. I'm going to teach you everything you need when you are behind the wheel on the road in Japan.
200 yen per 40 minutes (Between 8:00 and 20:00) From 9:00 to 13:00 = 240 minutes 240 minutes = 40 minutes x 6 200 yen x 6 = 1,200 yen But maximum amount within 12 hours is 700 yen. From 9:00 am to 13:00 = 4 hours So, it costs 700 yen.
This was very helpful thank you!! I also discovered there is a parking lot that you dont need to pick up a parking ticket when you enter and just park. There are cameras that scans your license plate when you enter, then when you leave there is another camera on the exit that scans your plate and that will determine how much you have to pay at the machine.
That makes perfect sense wherever in the world you drive. It's also how I was taught in🏴. Sadly there's drivers out there that are arrogant, selfish, impatient & dangerous nowadays & they don't really care about others. Drive safe out there folks! 😁
Very informative video. The rules of the road in Japan are clearly somewhat different than in Canada. I totally agree that you should NOT consume any amount of alcohol if you are going to drive.
パーキングエリアは車を停める事が出来る場所です。Pマークがついていたら車を停めたい場合其処に入って下さい。出る時は駐車カードを入れお金を払って下さいね。This is a parking area where you can park your car. Please use it when you want to park your car. Don't forget to pay when you leave.
This is useful, but the questions are somtimes tricky 🛑🚦🚧 , you had to pay the right amount of attention so that not to over interpret of under estimate the question sentence intent. 🚘 By the way, is there some example of road test questions relating to snow driving environment 🌨❄☃️ like driving on Hokkaido roads during winter season ?
Super informative, thank you ! would love to learn more about japans intersections, u-turns, and stripe lines. thats sometime i still don't quite understand
Wait is the making a full stop before going into the section like enforced? I’ve been driving in Japan for some time and I never see anyone stop. They just turn the corner inside when there is no pedestrian.
I'm japanese. I think you'd better to sign up for ETC, because it's very convenient. If you have ETC card, you don't need to stop at toll gate long time. In addition, when you use ETC, the toll cheaper than when you don't use it. (Maybe I mistake grammar, spelling, etc.)
Thank you so much for your videos. I think I’ve watched all them. Picking the car up from Sapporo today I’m re watching your videos to refresh my memories 🙏🏼
Just came back from Japan. Driving on the expressway is not as challenging as driving in cities. Roads in the city can be a tad confusing at times especially if you are not used to driving on the left side. The tolls is also a bit of a pain. Have ample amounts of yen or make certain to get an etc card system in your car. I managed to get into an etc only lane and passed through w/o paying and another time simply stopped and waited for an attendant. I was charged by the rental company for the toll I passed through w/o paying. It really is easier to get an etc reader in your car if you can.
If I want to pay cash and fill in the tank in full before I return the car company? How much money I should choose? 10000 yens, does the machine accept WISE card???
