For 52:14 that question, we can set first row of shelf as A, second row as B and third row as C A+B=80 --(1) A+C=60 --(2) B+C=40 --(3) Combine formula (1) and (2) formula 2A +B+C =140 Substitute formula (3) 2A + 40= 140 A =100/2 A = 50 Then find B from formula (1) B is 80-50 =30 Find C from formula (2) C is 60-50=10

The answer in the 6th min. should be 27. The pattern is multiplying the sum of the first number with the second. In this regard, 12 * 9 = (1+2) * 9 = 27 This is my solution. If not, can anyone give his/her answer?

Exactly, that is the correct answer, if you check on min 14:01 they made a mistake, they are calculating 13*9 instead of 12*9 where the correct answer would be 27.

@@namanvohra8262 indeed, but they are making a mistake there, they are presenting the solution for 13*9 instead of 12*9, therefore the correct answer is 27.

They made a litle mistake, the original problem was 12*9, not 13*9. Regards!

Hello sir, The answer to 25:10 is 3, not 12, We have to multiply 2 with 2 first because it's in parentheses, so it is 12/4, which is 3
@simplysantinoroadto100-sic3
17:47, the answer is A. This is because the formula is t:da:da:t:x:x:x:x:m So, we can now work out from Monday. so it would go sunday,monday,tuesday,wednesday,thursday, friday,saturday, sunday. therefore, today is sunday.

Below is how I think should be the answer for the percentage increase: Initial volume = 5 * 5 * 5 = 125 New volume = 7 * 7 * 7 = 343 Volume change/increase = 343 - 125 = 218 Percentage Increase = 218/125 * 100 = 174.4% CHECK: 174.4% * 125 = 174.4/100 * 125 = 218 The percentage increase should be calculated using the change over the initial volume NOT over the volume after the increase..🤷‍♂

The first question it could be solved like this too.. T=total of the rent to pay (which is 100%) p=is each person (there are initially 5 persons) 5 persons must pay the 100% of the rent, which means that each one of them must pay 20% of the total rent... 5 (0,2 T)= T But then there are just 4 persons, which means that now each one of them must pay 25% of the total rent... 4(0,25 T) = T and this represent and increase of 5% for each one of them, which is 260$... (0,25 T - 0,20 T) = 0,05 T = $ increase So... Formula ... $increase represent the 5% of the rent $ increase = 0,05 T ....and 260$ = $ increase T = 260/0,05 = 5200 $ is the total rent to pay.

Shouldn't the quiz answer be 27?

Yeah it should be 27. You have the wrong number in the example 12*9 and the 13*9 in your explanation.

The second problem it could be analyzed like this... In chemistry... Solution= solute (orange juice) + solvent (which always is water) % concentration=[25 ml solute/(25 ml solute + 75 ml water)]x100=25% 100 ml solution at 25% concentration, decrease at 12,5% concentration, which is the same to say, decrease in half of the original concentration.... So... If now you want a solution with 12,5 % with the same amount of orange juice (25 ml) you have to add more water until you get 200 ml of solution (which is the double of 100 ml) because, of course... (25 ml solute/200ml solution)x 100 = 12,5 % concentration 25%/12,5% = 2 So ... The double of solution (2x 100 ml) is 200 ml solution Of this 200 ml solution that we now need, we already have 100 ml of the original solution (25 ml orange juice + 75 ml water)...so add more water to complete 200 ml solution we need now...how much water?100 ml of water... 200 ml new solution - 100 ml original solution = 100 ml of water to add Maybe reasoning in this way can help a little better the math procedure (I hope...)...so by extension in real life we don't even need how much solute the solution contain, we just need 3 data: 1) the volume of the original solution 2) the original concentration (%) 3) the new concentration (%) We don't really need the amount of solute, but of course it can calculate very easily. For example.... I have 8 liters of apple juice at 95% concentration but I want it at 25% concentration...so. .... How much water I need to add? 95%/25%= 3,8 so I must get 3,8 times the original solution, to get the new amount of solution... Liters new solution= 3,8 (liters original solution) Liters new solution= 3,8 x 8 liters = 30,4 liters new solution Liters of water to add= 30,4 liters - 8 liters = 22,4 liters of water to add Verification... If you want to be sure (but it isn't really needed) Liters of apple juice (solute) = 0,95 x 8 liters = 7,6 liters apple juice New % concentration must be 25 % 7,6 liters of apple juice/ 8 liters original solution x100 = 95 % concent But now....the same 7,6 liters of apple juice are in 30,4 liters of solution 7,6 liters apple juise/30,4 liters solution x 100 = 25% new concentration Maybe in this way iit is a little bit longer the reasoning but (I think and I hope) it's more understandable for those who really want to know what is physically is happening in the real world.
