Your video is helpful for the first timer online teaching. My questions. Do you prepare the lesson plans to teach? What do you use for meeting the class? Google or Zoom? Hi Darlene, Glad you are interested! Cambly lessons meet on their platform. The lessons for Cambly kids are already prepared for you. You can record the demo on your device and then upload it. I hope this helps

Hi. I finally made the leap to teach adults. I need the experience for a teaching adjunct professor position at our local university. I’ll graduate in September with a MS in teaching ELL/TESOL. You're Welcome. Some of the gestures you do make up.Basically you are thinking of ways to demonstrate what you are saying by using your hands. there are several RU-vid videos that would explain what it looks like if you search them out.
Hello Teacher Lena, are we meant to share the screen of the demo slide in the video while recording our demo? Or should it be just a video of us speaking to the imaginary kid, as yours is here? TIA
Good question! I would use ManyCam, you can get it free version. I actually did not display my slides when I applied, I just spoke as if I had changed slides using transitions phrases. For example “Let’s see what’s next.” Other programs are out there but I don’t know them as well.
The demo is supposed to be around 5 minutes but it is hard to include all of the slides in that time. I would do as many slides as possible within the requested time
