@@HackerActivist Herbal treatments are not forgotten in nursing and well studied interventions (not randomly out of the box, think of legal issues) are taught in nursing schools, though use in practice areas will vary. Postpartum nurses may use witch hazel on peri pads, for example. "Cure" is a very interesting word to use. Nurses are not trained on curing.
Cramming is a No No! Ideally, you should have been studying before graduation. Dating myself(30 years ago): Mosby Nursing review had difficult questions, with a section with the rationale for the correct answers. Lippincott had less difficult questions. Try to get to 90% accuracy with difficult questions. Study the rationales for the correct answers. Blake is right, practice, practice, practice!!! 150 questions per week I was instructed. Don't study the night before. If you don't have three good reasons to change an answer to a question, DON'T. I forgot it's computer based now (bless your hearts). Practice will lead to confidence! Excellent Nuse Blake!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

My daughter is presently taking the accelerated nursing program in 18 months. 1 year this April. When she studies I see her studying some of the Nclix questions. She said exactly what Nurse Blake said. Take the Nclix ASAP!! Constantly studying.

During these COVID times, some people might not have the luxury of taking the test right away. My friend and I had graduated in May and I nearly had to take the NCLEX in September but found a testing date that was a lot closer than Sept (my friend wasn’t so lucky)
i'm brazilian, i'm a nurse and i study english, your diction is very good. for me that my English is bad, even though I don't understand it very much, I like to hear you speak
Thanks for your quick and useful study tips! very straight-to-the-point! Definitely going to check out the Davies Q & A because it looks very informative and challenging. Going to start studying early to relieve anxiety and get accustomed to test-taking strategies for the nclex. :)

I live in Germany and I’m in my first year here. Since our apprenticeship is 3 years long I’ll have to make the NCLEX test as well.. Well... I got a lot of time actually but I’m already scared that i won’t pass but I really hope I’ll make it. My biggest fear is the medical language (I don’t even know if that’s a word but I hope y’all understand) that I won’t understand what is meant etc.

Hi Blake! I would like to know if i need a Bachelor's degree to take the NCLEX or is it possible to take it having an associate's degree only? I'm studying in a nursing school and it last 3 years but some others choose to continue and study 2 more years (5 years in total) to have a "licenciatura" which is like a bachelor's degree in usa. Thank you for your elloquance and being so clear when explaining, it's not easy to find people giving info so complete, i instantly suscribed!
Hi nurse b I love your earnest way of helping others. What would you recommend for someone who cannot afford these private lessons or audios that are advised by some ppl to pass. Can you recommend some free avenues that will work just the same eg books and free audio that can be streamed online. Thanks 🙏 keep up the good job

After passing/finishing nursing school, one has to pass the national boards exam to be licensed to work as an registered nurse. If you fail that exam, you have to redo it until you pass.....if that's what you were asking.
What is your take on UWorld? I hear mostly good things about it. I've been using Saunders NCLEX throughout school thus far. I'm gearing up for my final 8 months and now looking into getting a little more to prepare me for my end of program test as well as the NCLEX.

I hated studying. I did an ATI capstone, graduated in May, did no studying, took NCLEX end August and passed in 75 questions in 40 minutes. It was literally the easiest nursing exam ever. Very, very basic questions. I do not understand people failing this test three, four, five, six times.
