After watching this video last week i decided to go-ahead and to start getting my CDL permit.I downloaded the app (CDL PREP) that you showed on the video.I am here in Oklahoma ( first i went and got my medical DOT ) after that i went this Monday for the Air brakes, Tuesday for combinations and today Wednesday for the general knowledge.I passed and got my cdl A permit studied about 3/4 hours each time before i went.You can only skip 5 times on each test i used all my 5 skips on the general knowledge on the other 2 test skipped once or twice.Thank you so much for the info RESPECT 👊🏾

June 2021 - Atlanta GA - DMV Whitehall St >> Written test only >> You can't skip any questions. I just pass the CPL - General Knowlege (Saturday, June 5th, 2021) and Air Brakes & Combonation (Tuesday, June 8th, 2021). I was able to walk-in without an appointment and take the test.

I just studied all of it at once within like 2 days. Last time i took it i passed air brakes,combination,and tankers all in first go but failed general knowledge by like 2 or 3 questions but went the next day and passed. It's just repetitive studying is all it's .Everyone is different and some can cram more in than others so hey,whatever works for you then that's awesome. Good luck to all. Ps. The real learning and paying attention comes when you have to do pre-trip but don't get discouraged. It's a lot but you can do it,put your faith in God and you can do all things!

I ate a lot of fish on Sunday and also I took Omega 3 fish oil vitamin. On Monday I woke up in the morning and studied all General, airbrake and combination for a total of 3 hours. Same day, I went to DMV in the afternoon and I passed all exams. The Fish things work!😊

I advice to get your medical certificate while you are still studying the questions to get that out of your way . Then you just have to go and get your clp and go to school. They charge around $110 for that medical certificate.

Bro, air brakes and combination is so easy i read each of em a day and next day i went to dmv and passed it, just tooke me 4 days and passed both of it now im reading the G/knowledge and i about to make it half and probably gonna be ready for exam in another 4 days

I downloaded CDL Genie to my phone, it tells you the probability of passing your tests.. I studied the book, and used the app to take practise tests for 1 week, it says I have a 98% chance of passing... my test is in 5 days...Im so nervous!!...I just keep retaking the all the practise tests over and over so I dont forget anything.

In jersey you have to take general knowledge first 😒

Taking my CDL permit test on Wednesday I know the general knowledge is 50 question after you pass that one do you have to take the air brakes and combination or you just need to pass the general knowledge to get the cdp?

So you don’t take all the test same day?

I've taken the written test in CA on computer roughly 3-4 years ago, passed all 4 tests (studied everything for 3 weeks straight) I had to abandon my CDL training due to a family emergency. Currently transitioning careers' from diesel technician to CDL driver, my question is I'm aware I can skip questions on the computer but I'm not fully understanding the gist of your statement on just skipping the question, are you stating not to answer it? Are you implying hypothetically if I answered the questions correctly from only the ones I knew from CDL prep app I would pass the test regardless? In theory, then that would mean I wouldn't know the remaining 3-4 questions in the 20 question Air Brake exam but I would pass it by 80%, this is what I'm interpreting if I'm over thinking this I apologize - experiencing bad insomnia the past few days, it's the brain fog.
