This is so helpful for us fair skinned people, so many things that appear light enough either just aren’t or the undertones are too yellow. I don’t self tan and I can’t be in the sun for too long due to medical issues so it’s nice to see someone do a naturally fair skinned video, so thank you!

I used to have the redness issue with my skin. I finally realized it was because my skin was DRY! Once I started using a daily moisturizer along with my sunscreen, the redness drastically improved.

This is awesome!! I'm the same with having a hard time figuring out my undertones, because I'm super pale and my wrist veins look blue, but I also feel like pale yellowish ivory foundations match me better than pink or peachy ones, and I also find that, while cool-toned pinks look ok on me, warm pinks and corals look better. I'm excited to try these products out! :)

I have the same problems... some foundation can be too white and too pink that I look sick and washed out... I struggle so much to find the right undertone for me... unfortunately I have redness on my skin and at each Sephora or makeup counter I went... they always like "OK cool and pink undertone".... like I juste have redness 😔

It took me forever to figure out I have a more neutral undertone. It probably leans a bit cool, but being in the middle gives you more flexibility in which tones you can wear. But the neutral foundations are a life saver.

THANK YOU for linking the products. My struggle is a combination skin (dry easily, gets oily easy, my hair is the same), with a cool undertone (its so hard to find good foundation, plus the need for both a warm months and cold months foundation), PLUS dark under eye circles run in the family, not to mention the diagnosed rosacea I have steroid cream for ugh!

I’m a similar skin tone to your natural complexion, and I’m def more on the pale olive spectrum. Sophie Marcs has a RU-vid channel that’s dedicated almost entirely to olive skin. She has so many helpful tips and tricks videos.

Awesome video!! Saved it to my videos, super helpful! I’m very close to your skin tone, also have major redness but yet am not cool toned and look super odd in cool toned foundations. When I don’t self tan I find that colors look differently and I just always have trouble finding blushes, eyeshadows and especially lip colors that work and compliment everything so love this! Same issue here 😔❤ the worst is the sale assistant in makeup store who immediately assume we are cool and pink undertone because we have redness on our face which is not our undertone!

I loveeeee your face and eye makeup!! I’m a redhead and I’ve alwaaays struggled with the finding the right colors that compliment my skin tone, rather than contrasting it and you’ve given so many good tips! However, I neverrrr like the orangey finish with the eyeshadow. I’ve used the same techniques as you for my eyes, using blush and light brown eyeshadows, and I get a similar outcome. But I’m not a big fan of the orange tone to it. Do you have any tips for using different light natural colors?

The Charlotte tilbury peach corrector is great for fair skin it’s the best one I’ve tried, I also tried the Milani supercharged under eye tint in pink and it’s alright but not great. You can also use the CT peach corrector blemishes but for hygiene purposes don’t double dip from the pot to the blemish as with other products

I like your videos. My skin is as fair as yours, but I am a LOT older. It's been hard for me to find many women on RU-vid that are as white as I am. I discovered on my own, that eyebrow setting powder trick. My brows are so light that it took me YEARS to get comfortable with eyebrow products, they always made me feel like Groucho Marx lol. I've finally gotten the hang of it now that I'm in my 50s. Lol

The tips were generally helpful. I've stopped using white mix in lightened because I feel like they make the shade more ashy looking on my skin. And I need a super super light red/rosy toned bronzer that doesn't exist. I've noticed many "fair" youtubers aren't as fair as they think they are. You seem more on the edge between light and fair.

Isn't it ironic pale skin and especially freckles are so trendy now I was teased mercilessly when I was growing up for not being tan I tried to do everything I could to not look like myself but now I've embraced my natural beauty rather than work against it

I think hardly anyone can wear those pink/peach "cool" toned foundations. Idk who they're for. No one is the color of a peach, let alone after color correcting for redness. The pink undertones also make those foundations super dark. They call them fair as if adding that much red pigment to a foundation doesn't make it darker! I have a "cool" undertone and I'm not even that fair but I can't wear any of those pink toned foundations.

I think you’re really similar in tone to me. Without fake tan, I’m very pale olive (but have a lot of redness on my face) and I struggle ssooo much finding foundations that don’t look crazy pink on me 😖

You're probably neutral leaning cool. If you were COOL COOL you're veins would be purpleish. Blue veins are a sign of more neutral, but I would argue you're leaning slightly toward the cools if you can't pull off too many yellows or warms. For example, that shirt you're wearing is SOOOOO warm, it's yellowing you a touch, it's washing you out. Though if you find you can usually pull off that color really well, then I might argue it's particular saturation doesn't suit you as much. But those are just my initial observations, especially with tastes in colors you don't have to listen to a thing I or anyone else tells you. But these things in conjunction give me the impression that neutral leaning cool is your undertone.
