I love Born Pretty gel polish. Definitely a favorite of mine. I’m also really loving Venalisa mud gel. That stuff is so pigmented, and it goes on so thin, so it doesn’t ruin the shape. It doesn’t self level like regular gel polish, but it looks great after top coat.

Hi girl ! Love your work, only thing is I’ve learned with gel is when you smooth the nail/acrylic too much the gel eventually peels off. I’ve been taught prepping the nail with medium grit file works better before applying

It takes practice when I first started doing my nails at age 9 they where sloppy but I got better and now I clean up around the cuticle I’m 18 now and I can do acrylics I love it and my dream is to become a nail tech and maybe even open my own business

Would it be better to invest in color gel polishes or color acrylic powder?

Sometimes I buff out the first layer of gel polish to smooth out any areas it may have pooled, and I always sharped the shape a bit too. That way the second & top coat doesn’t ruin the nail I worked to hard to create and shape, because I use forms, not tips.

Can we apply regular nail polish over acrylic nail extension?
