Good morning Tyler. Going to do the 50 oil change this morning. You are straight forward with the task. No extra talking. Good info and I appreciate all you are doing on utube land. Take care and stay safe. From Petawawa, Ontario, Canada.
Good morning! Thank you for the nice comment! They definitely crank those filters on there. I truely love the 3 jaw filter wrench. It's a real lifesaver! Glad you were able to take care of it!
Thanks for the video! It's very helpful to see someone else go through the process before you do it yourself! Something I *just* learned from the Messick's oil filter comparison: The Kubota filters have oil on the O ring already. The annoying plastic wrap is there to keep the oil in place.
Tyler by any chance do you know offhand the size of the transmission oil plug bolt on the BX23S? My 27mm socket was a tad small, just not sure if it's a 28 or 29mm. I don't have either of those sizes, so need to special order them. Thanks.
It should be the 27mm. I actually made a video about it, I'll link it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-As2TpP2kQZI.html In the video I can see when I undid it I was in fact using a 27 so not sure what could be different. Interesting
@@Tyler_Koehn Thanks for the quick reply. You're right it is indeed a 27mm. Just went out there and checked again. My problem is that the factory or whoever touched it while new, must have used the wrong sized socket to tighten it, because one of the 6 points on the nut is gnurled over and the 27mm won't fit on it. Brand new 2019 BX23s and I find it this way. Probably going to need to bang it on with a hammer, and then order a new transmission oil drain bolt. It's quite a bit of snot pushed over on that oil plug bolt head. Somebody got super careless.... I'm changing the tranny oil after 50 hrs of use out of caution, so that's why I'm even in there trying to take it off. Anyways, thanks again appreciate it.
@@Goodbye_Megaton no problem. Yeah that's messed up careless people with a crescent wrench. Yea maybe try to hit it with a file to remove the burr. Have a good one
