Hello, I enjoyed this very nice video, but I have a problem that I was unable to sync. The USB connection was not recognized by the laptop. Is there an explanation of how to install the correct port and synchronize?
Great video. May I please ask a question? If you bought a holley terminator x without the handheld and your connecting it to the car for the very first time should you perform the update straight away or build a base tune and then update? Ie: I dont know what software my current ECU has yet until i put the ignition on. Should i download V2 & V3 on my laptop prior to connecting for the first time. Hope this makes sense sorry.
@@greenshortsperformance472 thanks for the reply I appreciate it. So pretty much as soon as I key on I should update then? as per your advice make sure nothing is connected? ie: Dakota digital dash etc. Sorely Just the laptop and all other programs closed.
That is due to the DBW throttle. On drive by wire you have pedal position and throttle position. Since there’s no IAC valve the throttle blade is opened some amount to idle the car even when not pressing the pedal. I did a “perfect DBW idle” video you should reference. If you have a DBC setup your tps autoset should rest the tps down to 0-1%. When warmed up your IAC should be about 2% at idle
@@greenshortsperformance472 Just watched your video. It was very helpful, lots of good tips. I have cable setup. I set the IAC to approx 4-5% at hot idle. The motor ran somewhat rougher (it atleast felt like it), but the data seems ok i general. LS1 engine. Anyway, thanks for posting. Love to see more.
Great addition! Yes for any reason you can go back. I typically wait quite a while after a new release to be sure the bugs are worked out but I had a few guys go to v6 on dominators that went back to v5 when some of the v6 issues were still unresolved
