*Note: In this video I discuss how a patient would develop an alloantibody. After watching the video, I realize what I said might be confusing to viewers. Alloantibodies can be developed via an exposure to a foreign antigen through pregnancy or through being transfused with donor blood. I stated blood donation. I did not mean that a person can develop an antibody by GIVING blood, but by GETTING the blood that is donated.**
