Adopted from the art of Kuntao Silat, the Whip is a fast and effective technique used in self-defense situations. It can be used as a distraction, enabling you to pull off a lock or throw, or it can damage the attacker and incapacitate them long enough for you to escape to safety.
The Whip is a little-known technique in Karate styles, but I adopted it into my Tang Soo Do system based on its effectiveness and versatility. Learn to perform this technique with speed and power, and add it to your self-defense arsenal!
