Although they are similar, i can’t confirm as I have not personally attempted. That being said , id give it a try as it is a pretty simple attempt. Let us know if it worked on your 2006 - Cheers!
In my case it did - but others have had different experiences. One variable might be if it is a factory installed alarm or an aftermarket ? That being said, I would totally try this, as it only takes a few minutes , and if it works - great, and if it doesn’t, it was a process of elimination… cheers!
@@dj33036 I actually sold the vehicle shortly after posting this video, but at the time of posting it did the trick. Some on here seem to have success some don’t it might be differences in if the alarms are factory or aftermarket…
@@mikealarie007 congratulations. I did what you did in this video and it didn't solve my problem, but do you know what I did to solve mine? because my driver's side door handle's mechanism was broken so I couldn't manually disable the alarm. What I did was I used my key on the passenger's side instead and it got rid of the alarm.
This does not solve the problem, The Bozo who posted this video said look for the update but never posted one. He ultimately admits, in a reply to somebody's comment that it doesn't work.
Actually it did work, but the vehicle was sold shortly after , so its not known if the issue returned. For the 2 minutes it takes to do it , its worth a try Teddy !
@@mikealarie007 read the other comments on your post, they skate it didn't work! If it works so well why didn't you take a 30-second video, I call BS. BTW. Only my good friends get this call me Teddy. LOL
@@factotumted my custum order truck finally came in after months of waiting, and this one was sold , or I would do another video . Sorry to not have a follow up “ Ted “ lol 🍻
