I've never heard of the greycard concept and I've taken a bunch of film and photography courses lol 😅 great tip! I photograph against a light grey wall many times and still get that contrast issue occasionally, but I'm sure it'd happen more with a white wall (this is for clothing). Fantastic tutorial, Dalton! It sounds like a lot of us have had to use a ton of trial and error to get the set up that works for us!

Appreciate the idea of Risers; I use a table similar to yours for photography but it's so low that I'm constantly hunched over. Ordering risers now!

iPhone in camera settings I change Square Vivid Exposure +0.7 I leave exposure open to change if needed. Colors like Purple and Tan need different exposure to look right

Brilliant. The lazy Susan will possibly help prevent wrist strain by reducing the number of times you have to pick up the shoes to change the angles.

I have no idea why your using a GRAY background to start with. Google states, if you want more organic search results ranking on page 1 of google for your keywords your background needs to be 1) WHITE 2) SQUARE. They dont talk about GARY at all. And, you should be using PhotoRoom to remove that gray background and replacing it with a white background. Trust me, my images look alot better than 99% of the Ebay listings out there and i rank #1 to #3 for 80% of my keyword titles on google because im giving them what they want. You should try it. Its all about testing.

Thumbs Up, Just some friendly advice, stick with Poshmark and Ebay..... Mercari is dead and a waste of time not worth it.
