@@kawaiiharris5153 just between yellow and green, for regular eating. if you wanna make banana bread, get the ones that are speckled brown. if you want bananas for a recipe later in the next day or so, get yellow ones.

Fruits like avocados and papayas are ripe or close to being ripe once you can put a dent in them with your finger the easier the dent is to make with your finger the riper it is. Same thing with a cantaloupe or honeydew melon but you need to press them at the bottom( turn it so the bottom is facing up and press it in the center) if you can make a dent it's ripe the easier the dent the more ripe it is. This method can be used on most fruits even bananas

@@mckenzieevans8511 i mean the ones that are near-ripe, not totally green. you don’t generally eat a bunch of bananas the same day you get them, and the yellow ones don’t stay good for long. so you get near-ripe ones, and you have bananas in a good stage for eating for longer.
