There's a big difference between trimming the wing, and clipping it. If you clip a bird's wing, they will most likely never fly again, if not short distances. If you trim, like in the video, the feathers will grow back. It doesn't harm the bird, it just keeps them from flying away. They're domesticated, they can't survive in the wild.
there is a difference between clipping the wing and the feathers, even the flight feathers fall out when they molt so it’s fine to cute the feathers just not the bone
You can trim or clip the feathers and they will grow back perfectly fine. I've kept birds for years and they will definitely fly again! Of course now I keep my birds able to go freely and enjoy their time flying about outside.
Every one in the comment angry because the man .cut a litle bit of the pigeon wing . You know why ? To don't fly (escape) from the owner .IDIOT'S .good jobb my bro
@@user-ct3pr3io3dnot abuse , the birds could be domesticated meaning it cant survive in the wild, if he didnt clip the wings the bird wouldve flown away and would have been eaten by a cat or another predator
@@hunnitbenz2212 it’s innate for doves and pigeon had them my whole life as kid and teen. You dont need to train them at all… Just cut their feathers you can look up how to do that, few months just open them some part of the day sit with them feed them after a while they ll mark your house as their permanent home. Some times they do leave if they find a bigger flock or someone to mate in early months but like after a while they are permanently yours, people also use whistle to call them back, when they fly first time throw food after the fact and use whistle. But you don’t really need to train them, just cut their feathers and open them free daily during that time so they can mark the place and etc, make sure to watch over them because of predators
Look at how it lets him hold it. It cleary likes him. You dont get lost on purpose, so if he trims the feathers, it wont get lost. The feathers will grow back. I dont see why you’re freaking out.
Looks like you had an @@overdxze_ of that zaza because one, domesticated pets exist, and second, if he had cut the base of the feather scalp, that would be like him cutting off not only the guys hair, but also the scalp and the skin where it grows.
its probably because they are afraid of u at first or some other reason, and if not u can still see the pigeon wasnt tryna run away so its not like its getting tortured or something like tht
Just close the damn windows, or if that’s too much of a task for this stupid generation then don’t own a pigeon. Literally making a bird suffer so you don’t have to be responsible 💀
@@BaryonyxTheHunter It isn't suffering 💀 Do you even know the difference between a razor and siscors? 💀 It isn't suffering as mine is playing with the other group of my birds. A pigeon can't be tamed as cockatiels or any parrots, as they only need to know you are friendly and the home they're in feeds them and their babies. Also here is the best info I can provide to you if you didn't know. Abandoned baby pigeons like mine or one who were born in a cage can't survive in the wild.
@@NightWalker_Ryo what does the difference between razors and scissors have to do with this? All I’m saying is that clipping a birds wings is pointless, plus everyone knows domesticated animals will die in the wild
Pigeon may be domesticated but there pack flys and they still know how to survive in the wild and their birds which means you're basically taking away their ability to fall please get some common sense this is also extremely stressful process for the bird as it's being held down and could potentially harm it if you're going to clip a bird swings I recommend doing it normally otherwise the bird cannot grow its wings back ever I understand if you're doing this for training purposes to make that easier for yourself but please don't do it in this method as they will never ever ever grow back sometimes even the normal trimming can stop growth please do more research
Ok why do people keep birds if they can't care for it enough to not run away my friend 😢had cut a pigeons wing and it keeps ramming into stuff and getting injured , poor thing
what is going on the comment section like these days, i was refused to feel angry, but i dont understand why the person in that video doing to the pigeon, neither do i have to watch some of commenters explaining about this.... man, my brain is gonna explode (p.s. i know you are gonna comment somethin negative, dont ya?)
