HOW TO | Pink and Gold Drip Cake

This cake was for a 50th birthday party. The best part about the design is you can be as creative as you would like! I used wafer roses, meringues, buttercream accents, and sugar roses to decorate this cake. I also used a edible gold dust to paint the white ganache drip. I hope you have as much fun making it as I did!

This is so beautiful 😍😍😍 I’m binge watching all your videos lol. Did you mix any liquid into the gold dust? (I’ve seen they use vodka, lime juice, etc.)

Do artificial flowers have to be wrapped in food safe tape for stems?

It's definitely recommended. When adding in fake or real flowers I always try to add an extra layer of icing for the flowers to stick into. That way it does not even actually touch the cake layers. If it is real flowers, i usually put a piece of parchment under the extra icing so the customer can just take it right off
