Most people know ZORO, and afraid get bullet proof! THEY MAY HAVE one piece of the PIZZA. I SEE ALOT CRUSH AND BURN. AND TODAY you can do it in AI, or animation. I SEE video that are great. A LOT OF GARBAGE OF COPIES OF A COPY.
I do believe what's important is whether the Film story or the idea is worthy or not, focusing on other details may shift it to a job interview instead, and that's why we are watching many Low movies nowadays.
Kind of confused about the movie idea section because a pitch competition brought me here where they only took a pitch with no screenplay. But, it does make sense in the context of being in front of a producer.
Screenplay pitching is the lifeblood of the business. But you say it's worthless without a script. This was not helpful. I'm gonna have to invent the method to sell this industry sucks.
She was correct...I'm finishing up film course now...will pitch my movie soon, but without the actual script already written out, I'd just be wasting the producers time. And they have no reason to wait on you to take 2-5 months to write the script, when by then 100's, maybe 1000's more will have been presented to them. They need something ready to go, already written, or they'll just consider you a dreamer.
She's probably mainly talking to film school graduates or people already in the industry. If not already in the industry, than more than likely you'd need a agent to book a interview for you...if don't have an agent, and just walk in or try to, not happening.
Please slow down or at least show the beggining of after you write the script .. what to do next ??? You didn’t explain how to even get in contact with an executive at a studio a huge gap was skipped in this video
Hi Jeremy, we recommend you read the article on the same subject so that you can read at your own pace: www.scriptreaderpro.com/how-to-pitch-a-movie-idea/
Probably will need an agent, if you haven't already figured that out. Or through a school, with connections. Or know someone who knows someone type of path. Me, I'm fortunate in that I get a scheduled sit down.
I love writing and want to be a scriptwriter/ actress but I have no friends and no one to help me start. Lol People say surround yourself with others who share your passion, but I don’t know where to find them. 🙃
Hi Bella! We recommend that you look to online screenwriters' communities as a start. For example, Stage 32 can be a great resource. You may find this article helpful: www.scriptreaderpro.com/screenwriting-resources/
