In this video we show how to pitch an Outwell tunnel tent with fibreglass poles. For further inspiration please visit: www.outwell.com You are welcome to share our video here: • How to pitch an Outwel...
Finally someone who knows how to combine the upper and lower guylines to one peg. Most video's shows seperate guylines and still one peg and then you have to tension them all seperate. Good job.
At 00:21 i says “peg the four corners” but under the insertion of the poles you drag the entire tent backwards. How is this possible if the front pegging point are pegged 🤷🏻♂️😂
Outwell Lawndale 500. It's an amazing tent, but weirdly there isn't a lot about it on the Internet. Not sure if it was marketed somewhere other than the UK, but it really is a very nice tent.
Hi Cliff. Lay the tent out flat and on each of the corners there is a black strap. Peg the tent out using the silver pegs. Then insert the poles, raise them up and position on the metal 'lugs' Be aware that later you may have to unpeg the corners to stretch the bottom of the tent out tighter. Hope that makes sense R
Whatever we do we can never get the door to zip up. It’s as if the door itself is to small. At first we put it down to the pitch maybe not being very flat. But having pitched the tent a few times now the zip is a good 4 inches apart. In the end we’ve had to put this down to poor manufacturing on Outwells part. We obviously got unlucky but based on our experience I wouldn’t recommend their products.
You need to make sure the doors are all zipped up before finally pegging it out, if the front door is open when pegging you are likely to peg out too far as the zipped up door isn't there to show you where the limit is
Peg four, no two, no four, no two corners and need two people. Then have very soft ground and no wind as well. I'm looking at getting an Outwell tent. My 5 man pump up Vango I can do in 25 mins alone. My two 2-3 man little tent in say 10 mins. But this looks like I would have everybody filming for a laugh on a calm day, and wetting themselves with laughter on a windy day. Not sure what I've learnt from this video. Oh, calm day and pack an assistant!
For bigger tents we recommend 2 person to picth. If it is a small 2-3 man tent you might be able to do it by yourselves when you have tried a few times. Hope that you will find a nice tent and can go camping soon. Have a great summer.
@@outwelloutdoor I'm going to purchase one tomorrow. Your video was wrong; just watch. "Peg corners etc. and then do something else with the tent". But I'm going to buy one.
you are telling people to peg out all 4 corners, when clearly this is not the case. You have a very good video involving a similar tent which is a lot clearer than this one and less hassle.
Perfect, thanks for your feedback. You can peg down all 4 corners if you feel this is the best for you, but we can clearly see what you mean, as they don't do it on the video. Thanks for your feedback. Have a great summer. Best regards Team Outwell
