"cents" is a measurement based on 100%. In A440 standard tuning, every note's frequency can be divided by 100. So "50% up' is half of the standard note's (say A220 hertz) starting frequency "higher" in "pitch". One octave (lookitup) of 'A' is A220...the next A440...the next A880. So if you raised A220 up only 50 cents (50%) then you would have roughly A226.5 hertz. A220 Hz -A233 Hz. The difference between A and A#. In this case, specifically A220 hertz and A233 hertz. Playing with cents is only for those with a duplication complex in that they don't want their music copyrighted and never attempted to be imitated or are paranoid because the world music databases are held by only a handful of monopolistic greed hounds. (SONY, Universal, Warner, Vivendi, RU-vid, Spotify ....you get the picture.)

I didn't see this comment made (didn't look at all 131) so I'll add it for Steeler Nation, just in case. Cents is fine tuning. 100 cents = 1 semi tone. So it's giving you the option to fine tune +/- 50 cents to match pitch better.

Hello, I have put a pre-listening mono channel so that some reverb or autotune can be heard but I have latency when activating input monitoring and it is cumbersome to record like this. If I do not activate it I have no latency but the effects are not heard. and if I activate the low latency mode, the effects of the preview channel are also bypassed. I want those effects to listen with effects and feel more comfortable recording than if you record with a dry voice. but it is recorded on another channel without effects. I have even lowered the buffer to 64 but there is no way I still have latency.

When I pitch vocals they sound different sometimes. Like some audio samples from Splice sound really high pitched up 12 semitones, yet my vocal recordings sound weird and silky or something. I know ableton has a formant mode
