LTK or Like to Know It is the other primary competitor, although it is more difficult to get to the stage of communing with brands. There is also Magic Links, but I haven't tried that platform personally.
Just so I can make sure I’m clear, would you use a media kit when you are pitching your brand for a collaboration with the brand on your personal instagram page and then you would use a portfolio for UGC creation?
This is a great question! I'm so glad you asked. If it were me, I would include examples of past UGC work in my media kit, so everything was in one comprehensive place and I could send one document to a brand. That way, the ball is in their court to choose how they want to work with you, but then at least the information is all in one place for them. In other words, you can include your UGC portfolio in your Media Kit. I hope this helps! x
