How to Pivot on ONE FOOT in Roller Skates - Exercises/Drills for Jam Skating/Freestyle Skating
In this video I give a detailed break down of exercises that are helping me improve my single foot pivots. I start by going through balance exercises on both feet, and then move to dingle foot pivot towards the end. If you are a beginner, it is very important that you are able to confidently do everything in the video in order. I planned it out according to difficult level when it comes to balance, and each exercise gets a little bit more difficult, ending with the one foot pivot.

I hope that you can follow along with this video and get some practice doing your one-foot pivots. One foot pivots are used to transition when dancing and skating on one foot down the floor. This video will show you how to improve your balance with several exercise that you can follow along with. Don't be afraid to stop the video, take breaks, or try the movements without skates. If you follow these steps, it will help you improve your balance while on your roller skates.
