How to Plan the PERFECT WEDDING | 8 Months Out 

As a future groom with a very forgiving work schedule, I’m very grateful for your videos outlining things like this so I can bring them to my future bride and take out some of the stress associated with weddings. Thank you as always !

For any brides who might be buying their glassware, I'm giving mine as the favors! I don't want to take home 70+ glasses home so I'm giving my guests boxes with paper filler so they can take their glasses home with them! This means each person will receive one stemless wine glass and one champagne glass per guest. Also, the reason why I bought mine is because it's cheaper for my area to buy than rent. Hopefully it gives some of you guys ideas!

For an alternative to renting suits, Overstock has so many suits for very reasonable prices. My partner and I bought his suit and the suits for his 3 groomsmen, and it cost less than $300 for all 4 suits (jacket, vest, and pants). We got good quality suits, and we have a seamstress in the friend group who gifted us her services to alter the suits.

Perfect timing! Our wedding day is exactly 8 months out from today!! Sunday, June 5th, 2022 in Honolulu, Hawaii. 😊 We don't have much to plan since we have done almost 75% already. We already have our venue (comes with tables, chairs, linen, food, drinks, and dessert), wedding coordinator, photographer, videographer, florist, and decor. I got my wedding dress in July (coming in January) and my husband got his tuxedo in July as well. Just booked our Airbnb, hotel for the wedding day/night, flights, and car rental last month. Sent out save the date cards on October 1st. Will be sending out invitations on January 1st. All we have to do now for this month and next month is book our DJ, officiant, hair & make up, and cake. We will be done wedding planning by December 1st which is 6 months out. We will relax afterwards and I plan to work a lot of overtime at work to pay for the wedding. We are super excited for it. Have been planning our wedding since 2019 and have been married since June 2019. Didn't have our wedding yet. Going to have it on our 3 year wedding anniversary next year. Hopefully things get better in Hawaii 🤞 because right now they are limited to only 10 people inside and 25 people outside for weddings and events. We are having/inviting 92 guests. Most of our family and friends can't make it because it is a destination wedding but we understand. We didn't want to have over 100 guests anyways.

As stressed as I get planning my wedding, watching your videos gives me confidence that I can handle all of it. Thank you so much for making your videos for brides like me.

I might even gift one to my grandparents with my wedding video for Christmas. We're doing a re-do reception type thing because we opted for the elopement ceremony so I feel like you made this video with me in mind because we are exactly 7 months away from the re-do reception.

Quick note on hair and makeup in certain geographic areas specific to the COVID boom: book as soon as you can. Book a year out if you can. Everyone in my price range was nearly booked when I went looking for my hair and makeup (in a large Midwestern city) about 10 months in advance.

I am planning for a money dance at my wedding. How do I poliety inform people to bring cash for the dance? Most people dont carry cash anymore, so I cant assume they will bring it with them. what do you do when your photographer (who has a lot of experience) didn't capture the wedding day to your liking (90% blurry photos, doesn't document the vibe of the wedding, non flattering shots), and you don't have any other documentation of the wedding that you spent a big chunk of $? She even misplaced my earrings, pins & veil which I didn't get a chance to wear.
