I try to add in a long weekend training camp one month before a major race. In the location of the race (if available), otherwise a similar course profile/conditions. I find them very beneficial.
Can't we just get an actual GTN week long training camp at some sort of all inclusive resort with all kinds of classes, meet and greets, and some training lectures? Pretty sure it would sell out in minutes. Of course there can be sponsors to provide supplements and new gear to try and buy.
Interesting, i do most of my training at allhallows in kent, i cycle their from Hoo which is where i live then normally walk 25 miles to cliffe nature reserve, its all along a costal walk, beautiful scenery. Lovely green hills one side, and the other side is water, stunning lots of wildlife, and very few people, a bit nippy in the winter, but spring and summer is brill, i go alone, its lovely and peaceful, plus also where i live are hills, and more hills, i also love to beach run, which also has an incline thats fun too, apart from that an eliptical trainer at home, step up board, and some light dumbells, i normally work out around 5,am i cant wait for spring to come, although working out in the winter is fun as well esp in the wind and rain.
I understand this is a three year old video so I’m not expecting much back from this question. Basically I’m a full-time teacher and I get the odd week off for half term. Do I continue with my structured plan as set by TrainerRoad, or do I go and grab some extra volume while I can seeing as I’m not exactly gifted with time during the term time. Thanks.
Have you all made a video about the flutter kick? I know that many of your swim clips are in slow motion, but it still looks as though Heather in particular is barely moving her feet. Am I missing something? Is this a triathlete thing?
