Sir, can you use coffee grounds in place of cow manure?
@georgiafarmingwithfluevog
@georgiafarmingwithfluevog 2 года назад
You can, but they are very acidic, so just do a light sprinkle. It would be more of a replacement for fertilizer than a replacement of cow manure. You can replace the cow manure with any form of carbon based mass. Wood ashes are a great alternative. But using just regular soil is fine too, even plain dirt from outside. You can always sprinkle in some coffee grounds no matter what you use

I grow them not for the plants but for the look of the plant. Others in the same ares have huge trees in big bunches but I can not get mine to do like that. I ask people what they do and they always say nothing. But just joined your channel so hope I can get some ideas. Soil here is red and clay like for the most part. Have had mine for over 10 years but never get huge or bunch up like others I see. Perhaps I need to put manure on them each spring.
