Dude must really like dove hunting. I threw a few pounds in with my soybeans and corn just for the hell of it. Figured it couldn't hurt anything and might keep the bees happy.

Oh yah he loves it, that patch was 6 acre dove field. They have a big time doing it. It is a awful lot of fun to get in on a good dove shoot!

About 3,000 seeds to a pound of sunflowers. We plant at around 20,000 in 30 inch rows or about 6.5lbs/acre. 20-30lbs seems heavy, even for broadcast, but hey, if it works, don’t fix-it!

Hey Scott thanks for watching and commenting! To be 100% honest I don’t know much about growing sunflowers but that fella has been doing for 20-30 years. Maybe he’s figuring he will lose some with it being broadcast. We planted those 3 bags over 6 acres. Thanks for watching, really appreciate it!

I'm just a backyard sunflower eater. Do you call it a dove field because the doves eat up half of your yield? Am I being cynical for thinking you're being cynical?😂

Hahahaha they don’t do too much damage to the food plot while growing. Dove hunting is a big thing in KY. Thanks for watching!
