That was so relaxing to watch ha ha ha! I find particuly in well drained soil and especially if I've teased the roots out like that plenty of watering is necessary to make sure the roots end up swiftly re-surrounded by soil. I'll sometimes fill the hole with water several times before planting to make sure the surrounding soil doesn't immediately provide a route for the water to run away then backfil. Once or twice with particularly large and awkward plants I've had to do that in stages, but they where really pot bound and very large plants. Best wishes =)
Thank you for the content. I'm new to your channel and I'm loving it.. from gardening tools to gardening, I love, love, love your channel!! I was looking for sheers and gardening gloves, I know where to purchase thanks to you.. hopefully soon ill have my very own 😁 I usually use my nails to ✂️ cut.. but you convinced me I need sheers and gloves lol
Oh fantastic! I totally know what you mean about the nails 😂 I still snap things off with my nails when I misplace my shears (which is honestly way too often, given I have 6 pairs 🙄). Now my 4-yo is out there ripping flowers off plants with her nails lol 🤦♀️
@@HomefortheHarvest lol my 2yr old is the same..shell say look needs water and shell over water them.. she says flowers need help n she rips them out instead of the weeds 🤣 or just walk around choose what color she wants n shell pick her own boutique 🤩🤭
I have problems with slugs in my hostas. I have been reading that I can use some wire mesh to put around the base of the hosta. My question is I have put some gorilla hair mulch around my flowerbeds and my hostas and I need to know if I put that copper wire Mesh on top of the mulch or do I put it under the mulch close to the hosta plant thank you suit
I agree 100 % to the viewer who watched your video. I already told you I seriously watch your plant videos and to you too. Such a cute face like a innocent child and so soft tone. Do you remember I told and wish for your million viewers, once you have then I need coffee from you. Do not worry, just kidding for coffee. Would that if you was my neighbour and I could see you in person for planting.
My hostas have spread so much and are encroaching on my stepping stones, then moss grows on the stones. How can I move them away from the stepping stones? They are very old, they came from my Mother in Laws yard and have been growing at my house for 26 years.
