A small detail that I forgot to mention is that at 04:29, when the CTs break the door, the player jump spotting from B (the one that usually jump-spots the short pipe) can also jump spot the connector as well. You can see that KRIMZ starts spamming through the wood when dignitas rush Brollan in connector. Hope this video helped you guys!
AMAZING just what I needed ! Seriously ! My mate and I where just having a lot of issues on CT Overpass , couldnt have a better timing uploading this video
Thanks, the video is 2 years old, but I can learn a bit. Overpass is my worst map and ct-side of it is my worst side, so. Last 2 games I lost 0:16 and 10:16 (stats 8-21) :D
Thanks for the great content! I would have asked you make videos on a certain position/player, but honestly you cover more than I can anticipate and I always learn from your videos.
Ur growing!!!! Awesome to see, surprised I didn't see the con 1 way smoke but at that high level of play the t sided con player would probably expect it if they saw that smoke so he might not use it. Good video
Very good video, helps out every player in all stages to learn better positions and utility to use and you show it in a really good way keep it up bro. An idea is maybe go with ropz holding dust 2 b site or just a dust 2 b site player :) ?
We are currently top 8 in Australia and all of us look at your videos if we don't get a chance to watch demos. Your channel was introduced to us by our coach WLE. Keep up the good work man, you're impacting a lot of players who are trying to go pro :D
at 4:52, I don't understand how he swings short without even looking into con. Was it just a straight gamble or maybe an anti-strat to counter the 5 man B rush?
Yes this particular one is influenced by the previous rounds/previous knowledge. Normally when you're in connector as a CT, you would be aware of the possibility of a player being there. However, since the Ts were throwing all the execute nades for a monster rush, he made a reasonable assumption that there wouldn't be a player in connector. Another sign that it's unlikely there would be someone in connector would be if the Ts throw the heaven smoke from T spawn. The player who throws this smoke is very late timing-wise if he decides to go connector, and if the Ts allocate different person to go connector, it ends up being a weaker B push with only 3 players. Because of that, it's a reasonable guess that there wouldn't be a player connector under these circumstances. Hope this gives you more clarity!
