Awesome video and great tutorial! However, it seems like you are using a different picking pattern for the chorus. Can you please clarify? I totally get the first and second verse but the chorus doesn’t play all the strings you mentioned.

Thanks! I think there’s a slight variation for the chords that change very fast in the chorus, sounds like I’ve just played the pattern going down and not coming back up for those ones if that makes sense? It would be easier to explain in a one on one class 😅

Dear Emilee, thank you so much for this wonderfull tutorial! You play the song very nice! :) Very usefull since as a beginner it can be hard to figure out the finger picking for some songs. I love this song, I listened to it in my first ayahuasca ceremony. Do you know the song dream ride by nessi gomes? It is really beautifull, she sings about the rising of a new dawn. I wondered if you could maybe try and figure the song out, in the live version uploaded by michael schulz you can see her playing, and I personally tried but it is hard to figure out. Somebody wrote the chords under the song but I feel they dont fit with what shes really playing..Maybe youre trained guitarist's eye can see something I cant yet? ;-) All the best to you, Lilly
