I grew up with Denny Freeman in the last time I saw him he was playing with Dylan. He said they did Jimi Hendrix version of all along the watchtower because Dylan thought it was better than his

Just a small remark: Hendrix plays the song one and a half step higher, so you must capo the third fret of your guitar for that for instance...

I thought I might ask you a question, a question I have asked several people and never had definitive answer yet, even from people I know who play the guitar. Basically my fretting pinkie is deformed, it simply unusable so I am down to three fingers. Yip I know about the genius Django Reinhardt but I am not as clever as him, plus I am 64, so I am a late starter with the stretch flexibility in my hands of someone that age who just starting. The F chord is always going to elude me bar that very thin sounding easy one. Funny thing is I have been practising for about a 6 months with a pic but recently I watched simple finger picking techniques and I found that I am pretty good at that and fast. But the problem is my fretting hand with only three fingers, I have feeling that I may just be wasting my time; what do you think? Thanks

you arent wasting your time.The most amazing thing about music is that it doesnt have an age or a limitation to play it! As long as you are all alive and well,you can play music. And you should practise picking with your fingers more. I'd suggest mastering a tecnique before moving on to another one because of your little handicap. I hope you never lose faith in music!
