In today's lesson I’ll unlock some Clapton soloing secrets for you as we dive into the intro solo to "All Your Love (I Miss Loving)” as recorded by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers.
Originally written by Otis Rush, this song follows a 12-bar blues chord progression. We will be in the key of Am, for the John Mayall version.

This is an album that every guitar player should listen to, rock and roll and blues players mainly. Clapton really set the bar when they recorded this record.

You can clearly in the record that Clapton slide up the neck, not down. He does that before the lick.

Consider featuring the Yardbirds: For Your Love American LP(Like Meet the Beatles-an album invented by the record label) for one of your full analysis projects. It's the best combo of Blues playing and Pop! (I see Putty in your Hands is on that leaked 3 cd Stones cd! Yardbirds do it better here)
