I've always loved Tom Petty. Some songs more than others but you could always expect Tom Petty to sound like Tom Petty. I have a challenge for you Kelly. I was listen to some Dio today and was wondering if you could pick something from the Vivian Campbell days, and do a cover, or a lesson on him. His tone, and pick harmonics, set him above a lot of others in his day. I used to play with some guys back in High school who could nail Zeppelin, Sabbath and Ozzy, but they never could capture Vivian's tone. I feel like if anyone could do that, it would probably be you. George Lynch & Brad Gillis would both be cool to see you cover some time too. But whatever you choose to do, I'll be happy with. You have "outstanding" musical taste for the classics. Peace.. Joe

You act as if the bass is not a guitar; it shapes those 14 monotonous bars into a coherent intro. It's bass guitar, not "bass", so for a "guitar" lesson you should include it.
