I am a Yugioh and Magic player. Commander is the format i play and the way i found out about it was when my friend introduced me to domain format. Loved this vid and i hope to see more at some point.

You know a series taking various characters from different media and figuring out what type of deck they'd if they played Yu-Gi-Oh is something done a lot online but this is first time I've seen it done so in depth. Hopefully this becomes a full series because I'd love to see what other deck ideas you'd have for other characters from other franchises.

As a domain formats enjoying myself this was a pleasant surprise, you might want to do a video if you plan to do this more the future explaining what domain format is would probably be a good idea. I would be down to see more of this.

Oh my god I just realized, Domain Format is perfect for the Generaider Bosses. Not as a deck, mind, but as their secret second purpose: Being boss monsters for their types. A lot of people forget, but most of their effects are not locked to Generaiders. Harr can use Spellcasters for his negate, Utgarda can tribute Rocks for its banish effect, Dovelgus can be used to cheat out any Machines, Hela can retrieve Zombies, heck, Mardel is notorious for her ability to search out Plants in Plant Link. The only thing you can't do, ironically, is play them as a deck all together (as far as I can tell), because they dont share types/attributes

If a deckmaster is part of a named archetype, you can use any monster from the same archetype, in addition to any with similar type/attributes! I'm actually building a Loptr deck!

I want to make a discussion video on this subject. I play advanced yugioh, I go to a lot of regionals, I think I have a good understanding of why cards are banned/limited. Even still, the self balancing feature of 3 opponents and the domain deckbuilding restrictions, and singleton nature all make it so a turn one Painful Choice from the Tearlaments player doesn't guarantee a win. I have a gameplay video where that exact scenario happened, we all ganged up to keep the Tear player in check and they ended up not winning that game. Also, due to the 4 player turn rotations, there are plenty of ways to get even more card advantage than PoG and Charity 😉

No banlist, and singleton, and 60 card pile, and monsters limited by your deckmasters domain (of course, you can play elysium and have all monsters available). I would comment more about it but I think Jesse said it all lol

More or less. Your Deck Master decides the domain of your deck (that is, what monsters can be in it) and stays in a special Deck Master Zone. It can be summoned from the DMZ from any applicable game summoning mechanics, like normal summon, tribute, fusion, xyz... or non activating summon effects (those withou t : or ; in their text, like cyber dragon)
