This is the best Country Road guitar tutorial I have watched. The video presentation is very easy excellent and easy follow. Cheers to the host Guitar Pilgrim. Expect more such guitar songs.
Such a great song. I learned it so many years ago and I recall being at a cottage with half a dozen close friends. This was one of a bunch that we played together that night. Sadly, most of those friends have left this world. I have the sounds of that evening on an old vcr tape. Tge sound picked up the vibrations of the recorder because I stupidly sat it directly on the kitchen table. Someday I will find someone to clean up tge audio. The memories are still there. Thank you for doing this fairly easy old campfire song. John Denver was one of the best.
cant tell you how great full i am thank you ....60 years old made redundant due to covid, so just starting to learn to play a guitar given to me by my Daughter.....by far the best i have seen on youtube will learn all you have on here ....again thank you ....
I think this is the best Country Road guitar tutorial I have watched. The video presentation is very easy to understand and follow. Cheers to the host Guitar Pilgrim!
You're a blessing! May the universe call you the man to go to. The way you presented this clip could make almost anyone get up to speed and play along, while having them understand what is required of the proformer to accomplish this feat. It's hard work, but if you enjoy it, it would improve your skills tremendously. Thankyou soooo much for unvailing some black magic.
Enjoyed your video very much! Thanks for the sweet memory of a terrific song. You played it very, very, well! I bought an acoustic guitar 40 years ago...sadly, I never learned to play it. Seems the long hours at work just wore me down throughout the years. I still love that guitar and it decorates my living room. I will never part with it even though in private my eyes tear up...I love the beautiful sound and talent of the ones that can create the sound and wonderful lyrics to touch the human soul. Long live Glen Campbell, John Denver, Cat Stevens, and the countries younger musicians. Looking forward to your other videos. Keep up the great work! Robert Flores, Sun City, California.
I have watched many lessons of this song on YT and yours is one of the best, hands down! Very nice work of a classic JD tune. You have a new subscriber!

Hey there Guitar Pilgrim, thanks very much for taking the time to upload this video (and many other ones :-)). Over the past couple of years I've been trying to learn how to play the guitar. The feedback has been good and folks have been telling me that I came a long way, but usually this is coming from people who don't play themselves, meaning they are overly kind and probably not noticing the false notes creeping here and there when I play. Anyway, my point is that after checking quite a few different youtube channels, I have to say, I love the format/structure of your lessons. The part where you explain the finger positioning it is extremely useful and the same goes for the play along part. Very well done. A+ from me.
Not a guitar player. I'm more of a guitar player listener and watcher. And you and your channel are the best for learning. And you do great demonstrations of good guitarists. Keep up the good work.
You've got another subscriber. Chords, lyrics and timing of the song was very helpful. The best I came across so far. Can we have this song in the fingerstyle too. Will be greatly appreciated.
