If you're here in 2018, hi!❤ Thanks so much for your sweet comments! I finally made a free guide to show you how to change the chords in any song so it's easier to play, and change the key so it works better with your voice. You can download it here if you'd like - www.ukuleleforsingers.com/pages/free-guide. I also created a complete online ukulele course for beginners! - www.ukuleleforsingers.com/. Thanks again, you guys are the best. Xo
For anyone else having trouble with matching the strum pattern to the words, I found it was WAY easier to start with just a steady chuck-up strum over and over again, and think of the chuck (not the up) as the downbeat. So when you say "I remember", you chuck on the "I", and go from there. It feels weird. Once you get the hang of it, you can tack on the down up strum, but you still start "I" on the first chuck, even with the down up added in. Hope this helps someone!
I like that this version uses only four chords instead of six. I am crazy about simple. It makes singing and playing so much easier and stress free which is good for the vocals to be relaxed since vocally there are some quick phrasing. Even Ceelo does a slower more bluesy soulful version of his song sometimes.
Thank you for that excellent tutorial. Short, sweet, right to the point and covers everything I need. Now I'm going to go look at your other tutorials.
I'm just commenting this so I can see the chords as I play haha. Amazing cover!! ❤️ A C F E DU C U U C U I remember when I remember, I remember when I lost my mind There was something so pleasant about that place Even your emotions have an echo in so much space And when you're out there, without care Yeah I was out of touch But it wasn't because I didn't know enough I just knew too much
