Im not mad, i love the video. One lil nit pick here... THERE IS NO SUPPRISE ROUND!!! It is a supprise CONDITION, if someone is incapacitated, there is no incapacitated round, the supprised enemy takes his first turn shaking off the supprised CONDITION, at the end of his turn, he is not supprised and CAN take reactions, avoid certain theif skills, and take legendary actions. You have no idea how many players are influenced by this... Aside from that great video, (ix start at lvl 1 however i see how this could be a problem once n00bs get to lvl 2), so this is a really good and helpfull series! Oh and its roll twice not double roll on crit :3

Thank you Nate, that was extremely helpful. Being brand new to the game it does seem awfully confusing but this demonstration and explanation has really helped. Much appreciated 🙏🏼

Thank you! I know this video is so old But I couldn’t find ANY video of what it looks like to actually use the character sheet while playing and you did everything so well and so easy to follow. A lot of other videos use so many terms I’m still not familiar with. Thank you my dude!

Great series of videos! I grew up in the '80's playing the old Basic and Expert editions. My kids now play 5th edition, so I need to come up-to-speed on the differences between old and new editions as a player and DM. Your videos have been very helpful.

I'm going to use this as my "how game play works" primer video for a small one shot I'm running for new players. This has combat and skill checks described clearly and is short enough where I don't feel bad telling people to watch it. First video was good too, but most of the stuff about the format, narration, etc... came up in conversation when I found out folks were interested in the game...but this video explains the nuts and bolts better than I could.

Hey Nathan, We were really able to get our show on the road because of you. It's meant a lot. Your clairvoyance peers into our orbs and our lives. Thank you for introducing us to the Theater of the Mind.

Thank you this was very helpful. I am a DM for my own group and needed some pointers. These were well made and useful to me although it may be a different version.
