How to Play Drum & Bass like Richard Spaven (ft. Richard Spaven) 

Way back when Richard Spaven, the D&B god himself, joined us in Dirk's Kreuzberg basement studio for the very first time. We filmed a great masterclass with the drumming legend 'Basement Vibes mit Richard Spaven' or to translate to English... 'Basement vibes with Richard Spaven' and they German is a tough language to learn.
Spaven goes into detail about a few modern styles (drum & bass, the Dilla feel...), plays a few solos, one of his own songs and gives a very in depth interview. We are thrilled to say that Richard has taught at our school many times, including our annual festival of drumming in Berlin the 'Berlin Drum Days'.
