Correction; A Crack In Time does NOT run at 60 FPS, we all just thought it did since at the time, many of us didn't see many games at that time try and run at 60 like A Crack In Time did. When you're just standing still or walking about, it runs smoothly at 60 for sure but once you get into some combat or some intense Hoverbooting like on Krell Canyon, the game averages around 40 to 45 frames per second and in the case of Krell Canyon where there's too much going on in the battlefield, it drops about as low as 29 FPS, and this ain't due to the hardware either as tests have been conducted on two different models of the PS3, two different physical copies of the game and a digital release, and even on the PS5 via streaming service which actually runs the game about 5 frames better than on PS3, making it average around somewhere between 45 to 50 FPS.

Insomniac have been posting screenshots of the original trilogy on Instagram/Twitter boasting how smooth it runs, the 20th anniversary is just a couple of months away too. I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed

I bought a PS3 the other month just to have a better way of playing the PS2 mascot trilogies, glad to see I can also use it to play a lot of the later R&C releases too. Also, I’m liking this more personal video style! Look forward to R&C3 next week

My theory as to why ToD isn’t on PS now is because of the six axis stuff. It uses it so heavily I’m not sure if they could make it work since they have to support a wide variety of controllers right? That’s all I can really think of as to why it’s no there.

I believe Tools Of Destruction isn't on PS Now because it was only released physically in North America, and PS Now utilises the digital versions of games. Either way I ended up getting a PS3 and finally being able to experience it and I must say, it deserves to be played by more people!

I have this on psvita, but don't quite like the gameplay as I like "strafing" and haven't found a way to do so, except for when the instructions say i have to tap the underside of my device, which is problematic since i use a grip attachment. I can do size matters on psp with strafe, but that game just sucks.

I used PS Now back in 2016-2019 time and always complained Tools of Destruction wasn't on PS Now.

You can Play all of this with Emulators on a pc or with PlayStation Plus. The only Game which ist not playable on pc is the ps4 remade of ratchet and Clank bc there is no ps4 Emulator Out yet :/

You can play these on ps5 if you have the fancy ps plus

I played all the mainstream games and Gladiator. Have a PS3,4,and 5 but don't have the previous 2 set up right now. A year later and Sony still hasn't released these games in Australia despite seeing several times that they have. If they are then they are on PS4 and before only because I can't find them anywhere in the PS5 store. Only the 2016 R&C and Rift Apart. Which I love by the way. I played R&C 1 and I thought Ratchet was a DICK in it. They changed him a little to be more tolerable in the 2016 version and I loved that.

For every R&C game you just need Premium PS Plus and good wifi. Then you can stream any of those

Im lucky enough to own all the games already, multiple copies as well. I even have the art book and the issue no.1 ratchet and clank Comic (that was cannon to the lore). The comic is way harder to find if you live in Europe since it was only sold in the US I believe since on the back it states the price in dollars. Even managed to find american copies of both tools of destruction and a crack in time, so I got both the EU and US version even though there is litteraly no difference between the copies just the artwork.

Took me over 2 years to finally complete my entire ratchet and clank collection by scowering thriftstores. I thought my fat ps3 was backwards compatible to ps2. Turns out it wasnt Ive resorted to emulation. And honestly. Aside from some slowing down, im really happy with the upscaled resolution. I can even play it on my laptop, on the go, or hooking it up to a tv

Yeah... I'll probably be picking up a PS3 to play Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, and (most of) Ratchet & Clank. I'll have to save up for a PS5 later on, but PS3 seems the best way to go for accessibility of all of the older titles.

To be honest people should include the emulator versions. It is by far the best expierence to play the originals + deadlocked. Rendering the games in 4k is INSANE. 4K @60FPS with a wireless PS5 controller. Loading times are much faster aswell and the bugs are gone in the new versions

Sadly there I a bug with the hd trilogy on the vita. For some reason the music just decides to cut out. So if you're in this for the music. You're out of luck...

into the nexus was the last game i played like 9 years ago and.... wow i was disappointed. it took me all but 5 hours to blitz the game and i was relaxing trying to find secrets the whole time and buy all the guns . meanwhile it took me over 12 hours trying to speed through the first game. little me on ps3 spending $60 on a new game only to be done with it before dinner was done. i guess it does set up the whole rift stuff though

I do love ratchet gladiator, but the game is cursed for me. I had to buy 3 copies to find on copy that worked. And it's weird cause I tried playing those same discs on my pc. It worked perfectly on emulators, but not the actual ps2

It just makes me sad that PS3 architecture made it impossible for them to just port all these to PS5. I’ve tried streaming the first game and I keep coming back and giving up because of how bad it is to play games that way. If they finally got a way around it and put them all natively on the PS5, I’d buy them in a heartbeat

Naaaaaaah, Size Matters is garbage no matter what you play it on. The console port had nothing to do with that. Maaaybe people expect better out of a PS2 game than they do a PSP game. But that game was already bad, the PS2 port didn't make it bad.
