Outside of Gate 0 there is actually a potential spawn in the corridor on the left side. If the player is quick enough, they can possibly get a shot at your spawn point from the left side of the containers.
there’s also a tagilla spawn over there, i remember when i first started playing i spawned in gate 0 and immediately got headshot by 5.45 BS. now the second i spawn gate 0 I immediately crouch behind the barrels or move to the side out of sight of the door way

my 31 raid streak was from factory. its a great quick map that i dont have to dedicate a lot of time to so im flexible to walk away from the game if something comes up. using good ears allows you to have superior map awareness and when you get used to it you can pinpoint everyone from sound! its my favorite map to go to when i get wrecked on another map and need a confidence booster!😊
Nice guide, really helped me with some stuff I already did and new things I didn't. A map people also struggle with it Lighthouse, I feel like you got pretty comfortable on that map because of the quests so that might be a good idea for a video too.
btw for gate 3 exit campers, they can get on top of the blue container in the first room. not sure how cause i’ve only seen it once but there was a dude just sitting on the blue container
Thanks @gigabeef. The one big thing missing in this video is the rafters part of the map. Especially in the midgame i find a lot of people hangout up there.
I was going to make exactly the same comment. The high game in Factory is critical to understand, even if you don’t play high you can get shot from up there all over the place.
Super helpful! This map feels very counter strike to me in how formulaic it is once you know all of the spawns and so this kinda knowledge is a real shortcut. I think if you wanted to make a similar guide then customs would be the next obvious map simply because of how many early quests take you there and how classic it is at this point.
Problem with forklift spawn is that you're often pushed from *both* right and left *and* if flighting took some time, people from other spawn could pay you a visit, especially from from the left side. Also it's very easy to get flashed in forklift room. P.S. 19 spawns out of 50 in the same place is good indication of skewed spawns
I read on the subreddit (perhaps Mr. Beef knows something about this?) that the spawns are not random, they are populated in a set queuing order based on who loads into the game first. This generally means that your spawn will be correlated to your PC performance: Once the servers have an adequate number of people waiting to join the game, they are all given the instruction to begin loading assets at the same time, and these assets are stored locally. Once the assets are loaded, the client reports back to the server that they are ready, and the server places them into the queue. For Factory, the first player ready will get Forklifts spawns. In practice, this means that content creators and other users with powerful PCs (specifically related to storage speeds) will get forklifts most often.
Another point is that in the next update they will introduce left shoulder firing, which will change the whole dynamic in the game currently of the right hand peek having an innate advantage. I think this is underrepresented in the discussion in the wipe discourse I would love, looooove for you to do a video on how this will change all the popular pvp spots! :)
They haven't posted any information about the negative effects of using your non dominant or "off side". One would think you'll have an accuracy penalty, bsg is notorious for putting stuff like this in without mentioning it. If you've ever shot non dominant in real life you'll know what I'm talking about. I agree this should change a lot for peeking, but peekers advantage will always be king, now it's probably going to be usable from any peek.
Yo thanks for this guide, I like tarkov gunplay a lot but I never get toe experience it cause in all maps I feel like sounds is so messy and shit. But since you put this video out I have killed tagilla 5 times finished a lot of my kill quests on factory, and killed some juiced pcms and all of that with mp133 and tier 3armor :D, Btw I have died a lot but before I could never feel good in factory as I never had an understament of the spawns and possible routes, but this bro was awesome
Great guide, given my play style is fairly similar to yours I'd be keen for you thoughts on other maps though I imagine it'll take an age to do the bigger ones
Hahaha I played Factory like four or five times the other day and got glass hallway spawn twice. What a shit show that is: either you push towards office and probably die or you go towards forklifts and die. One time I survived by hiding behind the wooden boxes and not peeking at all-- just got lucky the forklift guy went the other way and nobody pushed from gate 3.
3:46 i just run and prone on left side near blue gallon they never expect you lay on ground there even if you had suppress weapon because enemy can't see you gun fire
Gigabeef what the hell are your quickslot keybinds??? Using ` for injectors makes sense so you always know where your injector is on and you don't fat finger it, but why are you not using 4? I am super curious what you have 4 bound to which makes it more important than say painkillers or healing items. (edit: Oh I see you're using the double bind on 5, are you then able to bind 4 to another action?)
great guide, but you really should have mention vents camping - a lot of newbies die from shots from the ceiling cuz they don't even know this is possible
I'm new to the game (lvl 12) and I still have PvP anxiety (I tend to avoid it at all cost), thought this map was a good one to get used to die and learn player combat, but since i'm kinda "poor", probably i'm gonna go broke if I bring the best equipment, considering is late wipe, I'll kill nothing with my basic AKs. Then if I bring a pistol, is even less likely to kill... so i'm kinda stuck here.
Without late game armor penetrating ammo the best chance you have is shooting they unarmoured legs. Shotguns with Magnum buckshot or the kedr is popular for this. Shotguns also work well for headtapping but that takes slightly better aim and relies on an absence of face shields.
Brilliant video, informative and instructive. Other maps would definitely be great, though given the time this probably took, for the smallest map, would take considerable amount of time. Maybe for new players, a Customs guide would be beneficial, as it's usually the first map to start on (not so much now that Debut is all maps).
I have about 120+ kills every fucking dog tag ive found was less than lvl 25 so i cant finish this stupid ass quest and when i do get a bunch of lvl 30+ tags a fucking bush wookie kills me....
LOl, this game is so wack. Ive killed Tagilla like at least 6 times with little to no issue. But yesterday, I ran into him and absolutely mag dumped him in his arms, around his armor, in his legs, like usual, and he wouldnt die....like almost 95 rounds of 5.45 PS and PP and guy just casually bullshit me in the face.....
Bro I was so hyped about this game until today when i played and I believe 98% of the players are cheaters, how you spawn directly dead by some player … wtf is this camping shit game
