Just a little note- I was taught Golf ball location varies depending on the size of your club. This location was for 7 iron. Wedge would be slightly back from that point. Then 3 wood with driver even more forward.
Struggled with my grip for so long, this video fixed it. I can hit my wedges 200 yards, my son got accepted to Harvard, and my wife is pregnant with triplets.
Weird flex but okay, I guess I'll flex too. I didn't go to college and I make 31k a month as a saturation diver. and went to school for far less time and money than a Harvard degree and I'm only 24. Congrats your son played himself. My health may decline quicker than his but I'm a high-school dropout that has been able to enjoy my life instead of dedicating every waking hour to studying. I hope he makes more than I do otherwise it wasn't worth it and I'm sure 90% of the world would agree. Congrats on the baby By the way
Its the worst..one day I'll shoot an 89 ,the next a 72. Then when I think I've figured it out I'll lose 23 ball and shoot a 180. Im going tomorrow at Rocky Gap and my goal is a 90. If I go ten under I'll be elated. Keep playing
I’m supposed to play for the first time next week with 3 co-workers. I expect to be awful as well but I’m hoping to learn some fundamentals before then.
I’m just starting to play, and thank goodness I found these videos. Production quality is through the roof and the explanations are absolutely top notch.
Excellent video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Yanaylee Yanrooklyn Magic (Have a quick look on google can't remember the place now)? It is a great exclusive product for unlocking an effective golf swing technique without the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my buddy after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.
I'm playing on 18 holes of Wednesday, never played golf before 😂, hopefully I can pick these techniques up quick so I can keep my work colleague from not getting bored. Wish me luck
I wanna tell you guys thank you. I’ve been struggling being a lifelong baseball player. I used these today on the range and was hitting straight shots by simply by doing the hand approach and getting my body squared thank you.
I've never played golf in my life and now I'm being asked to go and play more often than ever. My field of work this is a traditional array of opportunities for others to converse back and forth with little effort and distraction. I watched your first video and I am going to follow your process to the TEE. 😊 Thank you for making a great video and how to! I am excited!
I'm self taught by watching, reading and playing. Big time away from playing, stumbled across your back to basics style teaching, immediately notice things I'm doing wrong. Keep up the good work!
Happy I’ve found this channel as I’m currently retiring from pro soccer and I’m looking for a new adventure in sports . A friend invited me for a few swings and I fell in love ☺️
It’s funny I learned good grip technique as a kid and even though I’m just now getting back into golf again 20+ years later, my grip still comes naturally. Watched this for a refresher before I take my oldest son out soon and I was happy to see, as you said, the more you practice it becomes more natural. It’s practically second nature for me 20 years later which is crazy!
You guys are good instructors. I'm a 4-6 handicap because of miss hits. I slowed down the video during the swing example and saw what was wrong with my swing when I miss hit the ball. I'm getting my club head behind my hands on the takeaway. So, I slowed down the take away and backswing so I could see and feel what I was doing. The video helped me a lot. I look forward to learning more from you guys. Thanks so much.
You guys are just amazing.. I watched this and other beginner videos that you have created over and over again and it helped me work on my swings, posture, grip, hip movement, and swings. would love see more from you. having such tutorials freely accessible is so important. 👍
Thanks for the Video! Sorry for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you considered - Paneevelyn Swinging Clubsman (probably on Google)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for revealing an effortless golf swing technique without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend at last got astronomical success with it.✔️😎
This is glorious, I have been researching "beginner golf leagues" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Keniden Benilliam Release - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my partner got excellent results with it.
A friend convinced me to join him and play a few shots. Never played golf before. Missed every shot. So frustrating. But interesting game and really want to learn. These tips are so helpful. Thank you!
I’m literally only here because a guy asked me out on a date to go golfing and I wanna be prepared lmao pray for me! UPDATE: (also sorry it took me forever, wasn’t expecting all the likes and comments lol ty all) But it actually went really well, the video definitely helped with the basics and overall I think I did pretty decent especially for my first time, with a lot of help from him as well 😂 however he did say he was a beginner at the sport.. that was a complete lie 💀 but overall it was a lot of fun. We’ve been on a couple dates since then and I’ve definitely found a love for this sport!
I hope you fall in love with game!! I find it VERY addictive. 51 and only my second year.... Enjoy the air and try to appreciate how difficult of a game it is...✌
Coming here to learn some tips for beginning golf! I’m going into high school with minimal experience with golf and I’m quitting softball to try out golf. Just wanting to try something new and learn more about this sport. I’m really looking forward to playing golf in high school, but I still have sooooo much to learn about it. It would be wonderful if anybody could help me with some more tips to beginning golf. Thanks for the very informative video!
I am retiring and can play golf ⛳ all I want, I have made over $700 k from a $ 100k capital so far since I decided to make and see changes in my money, I have had a succession of payouts from trading, I recently diversified some into dividend paying Stocks and for long term hold
My husband recently registered me with a club because we are retiring this year and I am learning to start playing but I will like to know how you trade this way
Got a golf bag for Christmas planning to get into the sport as a beginner, I've never been before (aside from miniature) I figured before I take my first season I'd spent a few hours on youtube learning the basics. Thank you for this.
I've played maybe 5 rounds before in 10 years and I want to start learning the basics and hopefully get better. I'm so awful right now which has kinda killed my interest in playing but I've never had any type of lessons or anybody really give me any tips so I've been on RU-vid binge watching all the golf instructionals I can find and this one to me seems to be the most in depth and easiest to understand. They don't overload you with info, they start out at the bare basics, like the grip, which is like they said, possibly the most important thing to get right, and I find most videos barely gloss over the grip and don't really explain why it's so important to have this aspect right. Without a decent grip, none of the other steps even matter.
I got free unlimited golfing for the course I work at! Never golfed in my life before yesterday it was embarrassing as it was a hard course but man it was fun as hell it seriously woke something up I me, like a new passion. Now I gotta learn some more before I try again.
I’m playing golf for the first time this weekend for a bachelor party at a prestigious golf resort. Definitely going to practice this week hitting balls in the backyard into a blanket. Thank you for this.
That's awesome, been playing for about 10 years but honestly I only play one or 2 rounds a year so I'm pretty horrible. After watching this video I feel like I learned a few things that I can apply that should help me out and hopefully that will inspire me to start playing more often
Wow, not played in 10 years went to range last week it was a disaster. Found this and followed it to the letter in every shot and I am amazed at the difference. Thank you I feel this has really accelerated me getting back into golf
Excellent video reviewing key fundamentals of the golf swing. Great explanations and easy to understand instruction. Good for new or “veteran” or seasoned golfer. Also like practice ideas. Thanks for posting!
OMG, thank you so much. It had been two years since I last play golf. I used your grip tips and I played my best game ever. I had never done a doble buggy in my life, and I did four of those! I also played 18 holes instead of 9. Wow, I will never change to another grip! 😍
Great video , is awesome. Thanks guys. Is the best I saw in the last months. 3 weeks ago I hit 80. This week I can hit any single ball on practice, I try everything and can’t. Like never play before.Today after saw the video I go to practice follow the steps and wow is like my swing come back. Thank you so much.
This is fantastic 👏 👌 this is my first time to like a video and it was worth it. I have been pondering to start golf but feared bring embarrassed as a novice, this video has given me all the amour I need to stand tall on that practice day
When I played in high school, I would dislocate my wrist somehow and I wasn’t sure why or what I was doing wrong. It’s THE GRIP. Wonderful explanation and great refresher. Thank you.
Great video guys! I'm new to golf and really struggle with direction and hitting my irons clean. Can't wait to get back on the range to try out what you've both said!
Thanks, i hope this work for you. Please don't forget to go to the website to watch weeks 2,3 and 4 for free - here is the link meandmygolf.com/product/how-to-play-golf-the-basics/
@@meandmygolf. Yes it definitely does. It is the rotation of the shoulders with the legs resisting the rotation that creates the coil then everything should happen automatically without having to think about it. That's what I find anyway. Of course you have to get the basics correct first. Grip ,posture and alignment. 😊
I never learn how to play golf. As a kid growing up, I remember the time I use to play my ideal golf in my grandmother’s front yard of her house. Her front yard was my golf course. The neighbors would call her to tell her to stop me from hitting the ball on the ground before I break a window. Although I actually thought that I was pretty good, but only in my own mind, I listen to my grandmother and I stop. But then I tried playing baseball and I had to stop playing baseball as well because that time I surely almost broke a neighbor’s front window. Nonetheless, I might take up a lesson of golf even though I am a little older than most beginners. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏾
Those little images is really impressive, putting the right image/imagination into the beginners head. As most of us watching this won’t be playing and watching at the same time, putting that image really helps to visualize what we should be doing during the play. Great content!
Great simple instruction for the beginner and someone getting back into the game like myself. A good point to mention in future is the looking at the back of the ball very carefully? Just a thought
Guys, love your videos. Very informative, well explained, and a touch of humor which in this game a little humor helps. Question for you guys, do you have any videos on toe strikes. I am consistently hitting the ball off the toe to the point it is getting maddening. Looking for drills. I video my swing a lot and have noticed that I swing from the inside(maybe a little too much, actually) and my hands are pulling in to my body and not extending out to the ball which seems to be the cause of the toe shot. Anyways, keep up the good work.
Played for the first time today with a few friends. I sucked at first but using some of the knowledge from this video I became pretty decent at the end of the day. Very enjoyable sport.
Can't believe lesson this great can be all free on-line... Precise, concise and fun to watch. The video and audio quality is amazing too. Great job guys, many thanks !!
I am starting my Golf journey at a late age...I really only want to play for the fun...relaxation...and exercise (walking). Someone gave me a gest of clubs as a gift and since I have played very few times and was/am always interested in the game...what should I do to get started and not cause myself to become frustrated but have some fun.
@@marcelliott9121 I gotta learn to keep my head down during my swing. I tend to pull my head up when I start my upswing, causing me to go over the top of the ball or chop it into the ground
