Hi everyone! If you enjoyed week 1 you can check out the rest of the series here: meandmygolf.com/product/break-100/ We've been working on this coaching plan for the last 3 months now, we wanted to produce something that would be an absolute guarantee to Breaking 100 and we truly believe we've made that. Thanks for watching and we'll see you soon!
Meandmygolf do you gentlemen do any coaching drills for people that are unable to rotate due to joint issues or back issues? I've watched a lot of your videos, but my body mechanics won't allow me to perform the way you are able to. I don't need to hit long drives, but my consistency isn't where I want it to be.
I started golfing with my Husband this summer, I watched all your basics video and today I break my 100 for the first time! I started playing 4 weeks ago, practice 2 times a weeks and played two 9 holes and two 18 holes! My husband and his friends were very impressed and suspected that I took private lesson. I told him you guys are my secret. Thank you. I’m going to try to break 90 next
This is so incredible to hear! Congratulation Kasie, breaking 100 so soon is such an amazing achievement! We are so happy we've been able to help you. Keep up all the hard work and you'll break 90 in no time!
I broke 100 after two rounds (over the course of two weeks), and it was mostly due to following the advice from this channel, accompanied by many visits to the driving range. So thanks a bunch guys :) This channel is really helping me get back into the game a lot quicker.
Gents! I bought the Break 100 series and only got through two weeks at this point. That said, I got out to play 9 the other day (all I had time for) and shot a 42!! I have never played even close to that good in my life. Now it is about finding consistency and I am sure over the next 4 weeks of the program, I will find that! Thanks!
Stumbled across this recently, without doubt one of the best instruction videos out there,.. I've gone back to basics after struggling with a slice and topping. My new favourite RU-vid channel!!
You guys are truly brilliant. I have been struggling for years with an absolutely terrible slice (usually scoring 110ish... depending on how honest I am with penalties). Played 9 holes so far this year, and wasted a few buckets at the range trying to fix my game myself. Finally found you! I have watched probably 3 hours worth of your videos, and today the rain finally broke long enough to get back to the range. Changed my grip, and my posture, and can hit the ball much more consistently (maybe my mind is playing tricks on me, but I think further too ;) ). Tomorrow will be my first round putting what I have learned, and started experimenting with to practice. Wish me luck :D
Thank's Piers and Andy, having watched a lot of your videos, I am humbled at your patience and detailed explanations, things I would have read (and found tough to implement from memory) from my dad's Ben Hogan books, are visualised and stick in the mind and raise your own awareness of how the basics work. Just about to kick off week 2 and pretty pumped, having started playing golf as an early teen (34 now). I've got a mix of good and bad habits, this definitely helping identify the basics and flagging up the not so good ones. Got me swinging my arms whenever I think no-one's watching haha This has re-kindled that first time golfing feeling for me, looking forward to seeing the results come week 6! Thank you gents :)
I... BROKE... 100!!!!!!!! Granted I ended up with a whopping 99, I felt like Brooks Keopka winning the Flippin PGA Championship... less the $1,980,000!!!!!
You have a really great concept in the graphics where you break the task after you demonstrate what to do. Ideally, we’re not needing to break a number, we’re trying to break errors. Awesome!
came back to this video after the long winter break. its absolutely one of the best videos out there from end to end through the club. you boys are just excellent at breaking down the game. thanks!
Hello Andy and Pierce! I watched this video for the first time sunday last week, I then was a 36 handicaper. I practiced the steps in the video with my irons and puttning the following week and on the next sunday i played 18 holes with 96 strokes and lower my hcp to 29,1! Amazing..!! I've watch your videos alot and it has helped me developed and improved my game! Keep it up. Its useful and appriciated :)
I have used a lot of tips from other PGA pros and coaches and I have always struggled to break 80, but a lot of these basics are new concepts to me. I can't wait to try them out. Some of your videos last year already helped me to stay at a consistent 85 which is nuts, I lowered my average by 14 in just a few months thanks to you guys. I will be definitely checking out your website once I get some bills taken care of.
Enjoyed this video plenty! Played above 100 all year round. Took some pointers from this video and other videos from your collection and scored 91!! Totally attribute this to playing a way more conscious and relaxed game, which I learned here first ☝️🤗🏌️
Just discovered your channel guys and gotta say I love it! This week 1 plan is the first time I've seen a practice plan for the driving range that resonates with me. I've always just shot 70-100 balls at random to "work on my clubs" but never had any drills to work on.
Hey Guys, Just hit the range yesterday for the first time and found the first drill (my main focus) to be very tough. My swing path has not been very good but I've made it work. The partial swing drill to ensure good face position on contact really opened my eyes and also exposed a flaw in my stance. By the time I reached the end of the bucket I pulled out the driver and was CRUSHING my drives. I was borderline ready to buy a new driver to get some extra distance but I'll bet by just getting better face contact I added a solid 15-20yds (going from 250 to about 270 I'd wager).
Hi Thomas. We have already had so much great feedback from this plan. People have broke 100 after a week and we are so excited to see more results. Good luck and we hope to help coach you through the program on meanbdmygolf.com
This is a great concept guys. I play in the 80's but this type of series is great structure for practice. Good for any golfer, at any skill level. Love it!
6 weeks? Super easy!! Go play 18 everyday. :) I may have broken it once, I was in the 90s but had a mulligan or two. And pretty sure I did on 9/11, only thing I could think of to stay distracted. There were a loooot of years of not playing between those two rounds. Most recently I've stopped keeping score once I start messing around on the free Mondays that I get. Here's hoping you guys help get me to a handicap!
I'll be playing my second 18 hole game Sunday and hopefully going to get close if not break 100 by getting some reminders from this video. With this and some of the coaching I've also been getting, it's been helping build my confidence. Thanks guys.
Thanks guys, some great tips there. I played tonight and managed to hit 92 my best score to date after starting to play towards the end of last summer. I’ll definitely be using those drills at the range this week 👍
Played my first ever round of golf today after a while two sessions at a driving range, played Birds Hill (UK) and in an absolute big shot 105, disappointed to not break 100 but really happy making two pars
Great Ira. We have so much good feedback from it already and some have broken 100 after 1 week. If you sign up tot the VIP membership then you can post questions one the plan to myself and Piers. We hope to see you over there.
Great Benjamin. We have had some great feedback already with some of our members already breaking the 100 mark after 1 week. We hope you enjoy yet plan and let us know if you have any questions about it at all.
Great video guys. My biggest problem now isn't my irons or driver but my full swing wedge shots, 100 yards 70- 80 yards. I always seem to hit them fat.
You talk about a 58’ wedge, most beginners won’t have this club in their bag so can you talk in terms of sand wedge or pitching wedge. Other than that a great set of drills and advice.
I took this to the range and the course today and it was definitely the best practice session I've had this year. Normally I just hit a few balls and basically practice the same things all over again. It is kind of nice to have a plan. So yeah, I think I will sign up. Breaking 100 is long overdue and I'm afraid I'm a bit of a hopeless case. So if I make it, you can be real proud of yourselves ;) Maybe you can do a few videos on how to plot your way around a course when you are just not long enough to reach greens in reg. Like, is it better to hit driver and then the club that gets you closest to the green, so a 3 wood or hybrid, or is it better to plan two mid-irons after your drive?
Sure. I did not like the iron drill from week 2 very much (you might have seen that before in other instruction videos: you place a towel behind the ball to encourage striking the ball before you strike the ground) I am not saying it is a bad drill. I just struggle with it a lot. The rest of the video was again very useful to me (another drill for the driver, more putting tips (the drills stayed the same) and some bunker tips) I could not lower my overall score yet. My lowest score ever is a 104 (which happened some time last year) and that was one of those rounds where everything worked really well, so I really have no idea where to get those last 5 shots from. Normally I shoot between 110 and 115 on my home course (which, in my defence, is a pretty tough course). So there is definitely work to do.
Hello there, thanks for the reply. I will give it a go and come back to share my own experience here. I wish you a very good luck for getting these 4 extra shots your missing! That's the hardest part...
I found a lot from my Golf Teachers in this Vid. They are not that stiupid :) On Distance please Show also cm / mtr. It makes it easier for us instead of converting it each time
Thank you, Gentlemen. Great stuff. How important is stretching? I often get on the course and get off to a slow start and I'm wondering if my rotation isn't there because I'm not loose?
Well to say it went well is somewhat of an understatement! The drills were excellent - drove straight, pitched and chipped well - putting could have been better, but I’ll persevere. We could only play 11 holes due to other commitments, but as 27 I beat my playing partner who is a good 12! - appreciate one sample is not ‘scientific’ but I was very happy! 😊
Just signed up and excited to start this program. I have many bad habits to correct and this provides some great feedback for me (just watched 2nd video in the series). Is there a viewer we can download on our cell phones so it can be stored there (service at my local range is terrible so I cant stream)?
Hey guys. I’ve been doing the drills in this video which are a big help. The only issue I’m having is when I go to full swing I’m hitting slightly behind the ball.
This probably means that your back swing is out of sync, Maybe a little long. The rest of the series will show you and work you through improving this. Make sure you check it out over on our website.
If one purchases the break 100 series outright, does that give us access to the all the relative training videos at once to use at will or is it drip-fed. Also are the videos downloadable or must they be streamed every time they need viewing?
@@meandmygolf. would the purchase include the download of said videos or just access to streaming when connected to WiFi. It says "watch wherever and whenever" in the description
Meandmygolf, I LOVE your content, but I was wondering if you can either change something or create something new. I want to know if your video content can be shortened or you can create 2 - 3 minute videos to address the problem, explain why, and drills to fix it. I simply dont have the time or effort to watch 10 minute videos to find a simple drill that I could have learned in the beginning of the video. Please take consideration to this. This would be amazing!!! Thanks!!
Hi Jeremy, what you're describing is exactly what's on our website meandmygolf.com, you can also find this kind of content on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages where we take the main part of a RU-vid video and cut it down into 1 minute chunks.
Hello guys hoping you can help I’ve just got back into golf I can’t afford membership off a golf club is there any other way off getting a handicapped hope you can help also get video
I'm new to golf played twìce so far done terrible I am forever bending my arm on my swing how can I get out of this habit as constantly hitting it right majorly plz help
For your iron drill, should i be using 5 balls per iron and move through the clubs from long to short or short to long? Or just use a mid iron for all 40 balls?
Hello guys! Starting to get back in to golf after having to sell my clubs the other year to pay bills 😭 Could you recommend a decent starter set of clubs to get back into the game with? Great videos by the way! Rhys
Rhys Hill I personally bought the Callaway Strata set to get started with and slowly upgraded the the woods and driver. I thought it was a pretty good set on a tight budget
Visit your own pro. These guys here teaching "golf book" swings, that is by far not working for anyone. So as they say - don´t listen to friend or youtube video´s and believe you can solve this on your own. Take 5 lesson at golf pro in 2 month and do some practising, this will for sure improve you.
Every time you play 79 or less you will break 80. Pretty simple. Golf is hand eye coordination. You have to practice. It can always be improved. Too much mental knowledge can’t help you, because people are not robots
If it's a beginner they should start with single plane swing. Setup with hands under shoulders requires learning multiple swing planes for one swing, nonsense.
I love that they have very good presentation but keep it simple. i kind of get fed up with the videos where a guy has a million sticks and spends 45 mins trying to describe one drill.
Meandmygolf maybe it has but it’s very patronising and seems to text book/scripted. golf isn’t played in sterile conditions. I play decent golf but found this belittling and abit tedious. Respect you for your content but its just a bit old fashioned
Same as vlog released yesterday. This is simply a ruse to get folk to your pay to view content. Just lost a subscriber and reckon I won't be the first or last.
Hi Jack, hope you're having a fantastic day. What happened was we use RU-vid's scheduling feature to upload videos and I accidentally scheduled the video for 5am rather than 5pm which meant 99% of our subscribers didn't see it! So as soon as I woke up I pulled the video down and re-uploaded it for 5pm which is our normal upload time. I hope this makes sense and clears a few things up! Sorry to hear that you misunderstood and we look forward to seeing you here again soon.
There are 50,000 website members that would completely disagree with “the website is just to make money”. The thousands of testimonials from golfers proud of themselves having lowered their scores from using the site would tell you that it’s a product and one definitely worth paying for. We really appreciate your time and thanks for stopping by Jack, thank you for your support, means the world to us and we hope to one day see you in our community again!
ZZZZZzzzzzzz Went to sleep part way through this. If you want to pay for content so be it. In my opinion they earn enough through sponsorship due to the number of subscribers making it worthwhile for the manufacturers. They also have day time jobs re teaching etc. In my personal opinion if it went to a pay site then I would rather use my cash either at the range, the local swing room or for private lessons.
