Thank you. My 7 yr old and I've enjoyed watching these. We've just started playing and have enjoyed it. We've been mixing the sets we play with and battling DC vs Marvel. Not cannon, but fun. It also seems like the rulesets change a little each time it comes out.

I used to play heroclix when I was younger and I wanted to back into it so thank you these were great

TheGlassCabinet, thank you for these first three videos. I have the starter set of The Avengers that came out when the movie came out in hopes of learning to play. It took me about a year to actually sit down and read the whole rulebook. I got online to search for more of an explanation on the move CHARGE and it lead me to you. Thanks to you and the videos, i'm very positive I know how to play and I'm heading in the right direction in building themed teams. Can't wait to watch your next videos.

i played a teaching game with my friends last night. it was the first time i played since wizkids went on hiatus. it was quite fun using the blackest night starter. keep up the good work on these how to play videos.

Thank you again for these! You cleared up a really big issue that wasn't clear in the game I played last week (two beginners playing) in that when you push with willpower you have to clear, you don't just keep going endlessly. I'd to suggest that you do videos on bystanders, feats, battlefield conditions and event dials down the road, as I hear about them but have no idea how to use them yet. Again, thank you and keep up the great work!

I've been interested in learning about heroclix, and I have to say that as someone who learns by observation or hands-on playing a game this really helped me a lot more than attempting to read the rules in my starter set when it comes to getting a basic understanding.

@TheSilentShane ok good question. You can target two people but you have to divide the damge between the figures. or choose to give one figure all the damage. And you can not attack one person twice. If you target more than one person, you still make one attack roll when you attack both. Its done all at the same time. I hope this helped.

Nice demonstration! My Green Lantern is a bit different since it was a movie promotion. He attacks fewer targets, has less range, but has impervious and costs 125. Maybe you can make more videos on theme teams? I'd like to see those.

I play in my first Heroclix tournament tomorrow. Your videos helped a lot. I'm kind of nervous but tomorrow is a constructed. Two weeks from now a JLA sealed. Much bigger deal. I hope I do OK tomorrow. Want to get up to speed by Avengers Assemble and Age of Ultron. I've collected Heroclix figures for years. Finally gettng around to actually playing.

thanks for the vid. Havnt played in a long long long time and recently saw that a Teen Titans set came out so i wanna get back into it. I fell out of it cause the rules kept changing like the days of the week lol.

@theWickedjohn Yeah, she would have been able to do that. I choose not to grab the object, even though it would have killed him. I thought for this beginners video I would leave it out to keep it more stream lined. I will make more advanced videos going over all the powers and what they are able to do. Thanks for the comment. For a real match one would have used the object if they knew they could pick it up.

@jamesknine175 Thanks, Im glad I was able to clear up some of the rules for you. I couldnt go over everything in these three videos, but plan to work on some others. I hope to get one out atleast once a week. I normally don't post this many heroclix videos in one week, but because it was a series I felt I had too.

@kaz3ro69 to make a ranged attack you need to first have range on the dial. then if you do you can shoot within that range. But only if your not based with another figure, thats not your own. If thats the case you can only make close combat attacks. You dont only need running to shot to make a ranged attack but its one of the ways you can.

@simplelee92 Im going to just give a quick responds, you get a token for anything other than free actions. So basically you get a token when you move, attack, or use an abilitiy that is not a free action. Explain of a free action would be perplex, outwit, probability. And you have up to 2 tokens on a character but if you have two tokens you take pushing damage. So, only do that if needed. So first turn move, attack get a token. Next turn you can either clear them or push them.

@Sttucker13 oh I think I know what your saying.. I was saying bonus for my defence due to standing in hindering. I scarecrow can only use objects if he has super strength, which he does not. he was just standing on it. does that clear up what you were asking.

Yellow Fear gives Scarecrow Penetrating blast i think, so shouldn't he have been able to shoot through Impervious anyways?

@drummerboysareawesom This is just a demo to show how things work. And I was playing both teams, this is far from the way I play. I had thoughts about alot of other things I could have done but for a beginners video it would have turned them off to the game.

Im a noob but i just got gypsy danger and i think it depends on if your playing a 300 game or higher. My jaeger piece is about 200 so if you have a spider man thats under 100 you can team them up. Granted i have a lvl 5 kaiju that has 600 at full strength which means you can team up a bunch of clicks with your jaeger. Correct me if im wrong kinda wana see if im paying attention. lol

so in the beginning of the video when you perplexed green lantern with scarecrow you didn't have to give him an action token??

Silly question. Can you have Marvel characters and DC Characters on the same team?

The rules aren't really clear on the token stuff. The rule book says you can only give a character one token per turn than you clear it when the turn is over, but on the next page it talks about pushing damage. Here you keep the tokens after the characters turn is over and give them the second one at the beginning of your next turn. When exactly do you have the okay to remove tokens?

when wonderwomen hit green lantern with the heavy object i thought it was a plus 3 because it was melee?
