Great video, but I think the grace note is supposed to be C#-C, not B-C, and the second half of the song is supposed to be 4 semitones down, not 3 (I'm not 100% sure though)

what kinda chord does he use, is it jazz chords? if i wanted to make chords like this, what area in music theory should i learn?

He didn't write the chords, he sampled sections from jazz songs/standards. Master chord theory (which is how to form all kinds of chords in all keys), then learn how to reharmonize (differently voice the chords spread out through the piano).
