I tried to watch a few videos about this game, but you are the only one who explain step by step, not only that you made it sound fun and interesting ✨😉 thanks.
So glad my video was helpful! And the game is a hoot, we’ve had a fair number of laugh at loud moments with this one. Hope you enjoy playing the game 😁
Thank you for taking the time to really explain the game. I found the instructions slightly confusing. I watched a few other videos on RU-vid, yours was the only one that actually explains how to play!
I just discovered this board game. It looks cool, especially since I'm a Jumanji fan. But I'm really torn if I should get it, especially since this looks like it's for kids with how active it is. On one hand, I actually appreciate the active game design. It's very fitting for the theme that you have to deal with stuff in real life and not just playing the board game. On the other hand, I'm getting old. My back hurts from my desk job. Don't make me get up to do challenges.
Omg i watched a few videos about this and was so upset not knowing how to play with the kids. Thank u so much ! Ur video was the best one on utube for this
My issue is that the front is so plain. For how much they're charging for this giant piece of plastic, they could have at least painted the front so it doesn't look as cheap.
Great question - if you get the correct answer you go forward an extra space. If you get the wrong answer you don’t lose a life or anything like that, you just don’t get the extra space. You need to then find a challenge card that matches the correct answer and flip it over to begin the challenge.
I have a question lol. For example, (let’s say blue), your mark that you chose for the game. You roll the dice and you take a few steps. And let’s just say you land on a broken path, or a bridge. What do they mean?
So when are you supposed to get a challenge card? Do you just do it whenever or does the dome tell you to get one? Also thank you I have been looking at how to play but all the videos don’t give that much info
Great question - you get a challenge card whenever you give the right answer to a riddle. So as long as you answer questions correctly you should get a new challenge card every turn. And I wish there was an option to post a picture of the rules to RU-vid comments. You are welcome to email me at GameLikeAMother@yahoo.com if you want me to email you a picture of the rules.
What if u don't get the riddle right, do you move back to the beginning? And what if u do but the u run out of time on the challenge card that doesn't have a skull on it, do u loos a life?
@@mayattili5781 If you don't get the riddle right you just don't get to move an extra space forward. I believe you still get to do the challenge card that matches the answer of the riddle. And I just looked through a bunch of the challenge cards and I think most of the timed ones that don't have a skull are either storytelling ones that are kind of just for fun, or they have you move pieces backward on the board if you aren't doing the activity fast enough. No loss of life without a skull symbol. The game is meant to be a fun experience more than a hardcore game, I think they mostly try to set you up for success.
Some of the riddles might repeat but there is a large variety and different riddles might lead you to the same answers. We have played the game a fair amount and it has never felt like we’re answering the same riddles over and over again. Glad you enjoyed the video!
The sound that the board makes when you press the green center hurts my soul other than that though this Jumanji board game is a huge upgrade from the cheap $20 flat cardboard Jumanji board game that things a joke At that point it would be better to make your own Jumanji board game at home like seriously you could’ve made it more accurate in the movie taking a flat piece of cardboard and then printing a Picture of the board game on that piece of cardboard is just lazy btw I subscribed
Hah! The sounds are something! I don’t mind them though - it certainly adds to the game 😁 And I agree, I’ve played both versions of the board game Jumanji and I prefer the Deluxe version. The rules are a bit different and I think the Deluxe version gives you the best bang for your buck even at the higher price point. Thanks for the subscribe! 😊
