You forgot to deal one damage to Rhino when Hulk dealt damage to all characters as a result of your drawing an energy resource at 22.38.

Thanks for sharing. I've played with both of those heroes. I liked playing with She-Hulk. Black Panther, not so much, due to the iffy'ness of having/not having a Wadanda Forever card and/or his upgrades being in place or not.

I feel the same way about Black Panther. True he doesn't take long to set up like Iron Man, but getting the cards to go off was difficult, although there are tricks to put them back in the deck. SpiderMan and Iron Man are my current favorites to play.

Another great play through. I have now learnt it’s ok to mill your deck. I used to hold onto cards thinking I wouldn’t get them back (LOTR LCG mindset) but I know it’s ok. Thanks Dale

They are uberstax which are available at uberstax.com . They come 6 pieces to a bag and allow for many different configurations. Needless to say, I've purchased several packs. :)

Thanks for the explanations! This is the most helpful video we have found thus far. We were also drawing an additional threat card per player with the side schemes so this was very helpful. We re-read the side scheme sections in the rule books and your interpretation makes total sense. Thanks! One thing we are having trouble figuring out is when an encounter card is drawn during the villain phase and the card is specific to the other player/hero (that hero’s obligation card). The specified hero then chooses between 2 options to resolve the card. One option involves the card gaining surge. If that is chosen, does the surge card apply to the specified player mentioned on the obligation card, or to the original player who drew the encounter card?

Well done, I enjoyed the playthrough. I did notice a couple of things. You forgot to trigger the hero abilities a few times, which is understandable. Mostly I wanted to mention that when Hulk damages all characters, that includes the Villain and minions, so the bad guys take damage too. It might make it more complicated while recording the okay of the game, but you can request actions from another player on your turn, or that player can offer an action. That includes playing events from hand that have an action ability. So in She-Hulk’s turn you could have had Black Panther play Wakanda Forever to use one of his 1 damage abilities to clear the Tough status on Rhino instead of sinking Hulk’s 3 damage into it. Not a big deal though, it was a fun game to watch.

My son and I have been loving it. It’s been hard to stop playing. We’ve only played with one and two players so far. It’s been a while since I pulled out a game to play by myself, but I’ve been playing this even after he goes to bed.

@Stephen Poulin I use a 3 row card box, and then deck boxes and top loaders as dividers. When the Hulk arrives, and I do my next play thru, I'll try to remember to show my "storage solution".

Thanks for your great videos. I just got this game, and what I am doing at first is setting up the same scenarios as you and playing them 3-4 times , and then watching your video to see if I am making any play errors or strategy mistakes. The decks in this game are not the same as the box recommends, did you post somewhere a deck build strategy you used for it? Thank you

22:44 Hulk swings and draws a Lightning Bolt. "Deal 1 damage to each character." I noticed you gave both of the Heroes, Hulk, and Nick Fury a ding. However, I didn't see a point taken from Rhino. I have seen a number of references saying that a point should be taken from "anything that has a hit point." This includes Minions and Villians. (Still, I am three years late and loving the videos!)

This is great, I’m late to the party but bought a big bundle so have gone in with both feet 😂 do you prefer double handed or true solo. I had LotR lcg and I always played double handed.

Hi Dale, so I've avoided LCGs ever since I got into Lord of The Rings LCG due to the almost essential requirement to buy multiple core copies to have a functional and competitive deck. In your opinion does Marvel suffer from this? If not why.

There’s no reason for multiple core sets to have full play sets of each card. I’m sure there are people that would like to have more than 4 decks made at a time, but the core set allows to construct 4 fully playable heroes for the game, which was a goal for the publisher. All decks that I have played on the channel are from the core set. Expansions are slowly being introduced and I have no plans for purchasing another core set. Unlike all the other LCGs where I purchased 2-3 core sets. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!

Quick question. At 24:29 you mention you only needed one additional encounter card. The rules reference says about Hazards " Additional cards are dealt in player order ( first additional card to the first player, the second to the second player etc.)" So did you play it correctly after all?

This had me at first, but I've seen other rules explanations that it is similar the the additional threat rule, just +1 for the group, not for every Hero. The rules are suggesting that if there are multiple schemes, the first goes to the first player, and then if there is a second +1 to give, it goes to the second player ... as opposed to they all would go to the first player. Hope that helps, and happy gaming!! But if an official FAQ comes out, I'm good either way!

@@DaletheCasualGamer Thank you Dale, that does seem to make sense since 2 hazards would mean 3 encounter cards per player which would be ridiculous. The wording on pg 15 is easily confused as an extra card per player. Thnx again.

When you defended with nick Fury for black panther, does she hulk need to be exhausted as she is the primary defender and then nick fury gets in the way -- confused by this any time it comes up. Thank you!

@Peautiful Benis Thanks for watching! Nick goes away at the end of the turn which will be after the villain phase, so he gets to stay around to defend. Hope that helps! :)
