i picked up the game when definitive edition came out but i had no idea how to play the characters "properly"". i really liked Maypul but i didnt really get what to do with her unique tools. this guide saved me so many hours of time i would have had to put in trying to find this stuff out on my own.

Thanks for these :) Maypul was the one base character I just didnt get at all, so this video really helped to understand her mechanics and basic strategies

Does the Maypul kill confirm not work Any more? I’m in practice mode, and no matter how hard I mash Uair after I tether, I cannot hit a Uair before Orcane falls underneath me

Any mix ups or use for feeding seeds to Lilly? I know throwing seeds at her has her throw them up. Can this be utilized in competitive play?

Yeah if you read that your opponent is going to be above lily, you can throw it and get a free seed

26:05 sets DI up talks about how DI up will make Maypul miss last hit of up air 26:54 Does up air and hits last hit to take stock. Maybe it's still SDI (which was set to :none)

its not called turn around neutral special its a minor thing but its called b reverse

there's a difference between a turnaround special and a b reverse actually (and both of them are different than a wavebounce). The difference is the order in which you use the control stick and press the special button. B reversing (the one which reverses your momentum and direction in smash) has little effect in Rivals, and is often very similar to a turnaround special. There are some good videos out there explaining the differences between them if you're interested!
