Another nice video thanks for the upload jaywaz, I learn a lot with each new video. That being said, I think people want to know what we should be doing when a dk / dh are training you all game. None of these melee teams seemed to train you they all seemed too worried about your feral druid. The only time I dont get trained is when im running with a feral.
Thanks for mentioning that, you're absolutely right - as MM best case scenario vs 1 or 2 melee teams, ideally you're paired with a class that has high threat / high control, like a feral, rogue, boomy, sp, or a DK continuously gripping + chains of ice the melee off you. At the same time, the double melee teams in these examples are not training me because they are forced to go feral based on where I'm standing. Take a look back to the opener of game 2 - they were 100% attempting to go me but I was able to deny it with positioning. They had to give up and send their go on feral.
Thank you so much for breaking down your gameplay, you have no idea how much it helps people. Started farming my first glad wins today and your content is so on point !!
Ahh that means so much, thank you. My goal is to have this channel be primarily in-depth/educational style videos, so really appreciate you watching and commenting.
Thanks for the content! I started hunter 2 days ago after 3 years not playing once. I recognize fastly that keep distance is the number one goal, much more worth then push in to get traps and use all your abilitys just to land it.
Hey thank you so much! My goal for this channel is to have a focus on in-depth and educational videos, so I'm thankful there's an audience for that. Genuinely appreciate you watching.
You have any clips of fighting 3 melee lobby in SS where the MM pretty much getting trained non-stop and have to self peel for the most part? Ret/War/DK or Ret/War/DH with monk/pally healers are what gives me the most trouble
I'll see if can get any 3 melee lobbies! In the meantime, my advice is to play binding shot + diamond ice and use these to self peel. Play REALLY far back and drag the melee out of range of their healer. In this situation you are never trapping healer, only using diamond on the melee.
Thanks for the kind words man. I promise, just continue practicing and you will get it! Record your games and watch them back to help see where you went wrong is super beneficial too.
Glad you like it, I spent a lot of time tailoring it to my preference! I'm not using elvui, this is SUI. Maybe I will do a video on how to setup my UI!
My pet's name is a reference to my favorite Greek philosophers, such as Plato, Socrates, and Bophades... as in boph a deez nuts in your face. BOOM GOT EM. I'm really sorry, I had to... Ok but to answer your question, about 90% of the time you want to play a Cunning pet with the Mortal Wounds debuff. That is Raptors, Rodents, Hyenas. Use this website www.wow-petopia.com/abilities.php to find which one you want and where to get them. The other 10% of the time, you want a Tenacity pet with Mortal Wounds for the defensive Fortitude of the Bear (you can play this pet vs comps that will kill you in stuns if you DON'T need pet freedom from Cunning). Right now I think I only play Tenacity pet into Cupid and Jungle. You could maybe play Tenacity vs RMP but usually you need pet freedom in that matchup. I really appreciate you watching and commenting, I'm sorry for my deez nuts joke.
@@Dark_Defender_ Thank you for having a sense of humor lol. For BGs I'd recommend a build like this: B4PA5ZKiUcehijAKxoiI1CP3g6ABaBApgAAAAAARiEJJJiIkk0EpRSkWRKaQSESQoBAAAAI In BGs you definitely want to play petless - you will have slightly less utility (no intim, ros, pet freedom, mortal wounds) but your damage will be noticeably higher. Go nuts with this, Lone Wolf style MM is so fun in BGs. Appreciate you watching the vids!
Great video. Do you use action targeting in game settings? Sometimes when I have hunter's mark I still lose target for a few seconds(pretty sure it's not cloaked or dispelled). Or is it u anticipated that and retargeted him right away?
Warriors are definitely hard! Don't feel bad. A good Warrior will cycle their stun/disarm/fear very well, that part is inevitable. Here's a few tips: honestly you need a teammate that has high control like Feral, Boomy, Rogue, or a DK that can continuously Death Grip + Chains of Ice the Warrior off you. You also need to use your Disengage, Cheetah, and pet freedom effectively to drag the warrior into a bad spot. Remember they are melee and you are ranged, so if they want to hit you, you get to decide where they stand. Try pulling them across the map and behind pillars where they will be ranging or LOS'ing their healer. I'm not saying it's easy, but continue practicing and implementing these ideas into your gameplay, and over time it will become better. Good luck!
Trap out of Camo, as in standing on top of healer and freehanding a trap? Almost never as MM. You compromise your position too much, and any good team will just turn around and micro CC you to death, putting you and your team way behind. There's nothing wrong with Intim --> Trapping from range in opener, however usually as MM you get way more value out of your Camo using it for a free Aimed Shot --> Rapid Fire.
