Your videos are superb... really superb! I've been playing a 'bastardised' version for a couple of years, which I was comfortable with, but it wasn't quite the same. This is... and it's MINT! Thank you! What a star you are!

Rob your way is great. I never gave up. I can now play it the way you taught 👏 please it's not on the original LP but now there is a little solo he plays. I am never going to get it without your help and tuition. Won't you be so kind to assist us your subscribers with the solo piece. We will be forever grateful

I keep coming back to this one. it's so challenging for me, even with your easier version. When I was a kid, I played trumbone, one note at a time. I think it forever caused a deficit in my ability to coordinate my right hand and left hand - maybe.

Practice the right hand independently. Just do the picking in the tricky part; the part I demonstrate in the tutorial. Get this right and the rest is relatively straightforward m.

Wow thank you so much for lesson and quick tab chart but I was unable to download it. It said The requested document was not found on this server. it there another link maybe ? Wow this is a total game changer for me to play this song. I have struggle badly with this song. I have osteoarthritis and Im 63 so bar chord and stretching can be challenging most of the time. Alternate tuning and learning simple picking has help me alot. I saw a Fleetwood Mack tribute band last night The Guitar play was outstanding but with that said, playing in a Lindsay Buckingham style is no easy gig> He did struggle with this song in a few spot but nailed it for the most part . He was a far braver man to play this song live and on stage than myself. Thank you Fennah Rob

hello Mr Rob, what great way to teach guitar,, BUT,,,, I have the top of my index finger missing, my thumb needs to do extra work to make up for it.... any ideas that could make finger style easier. I am trying to sort it out but any guidance would help

Great lesson a Rob. BTW, what type of classical strings do you use. I am finding different tension strings and my guitar has a flat fretboard. Any ideas what strings are easiest to get to grips with. Sometimes barre chords can sound a bit buzzy. Thanks in advance.

I think you did a fantastic job especially when you equate chords to a7 d7 shapes and when you said relative to capo except 11th fret because we should know where the 12th fret is if you've been playing for anytime at all for real! Also, your accent and humor kept me listening 😂

Ok so. I’ve downloaded the (16!) sheets of music (thank you for making them free. ) My guitar sounded awful, probably a problem with capo sharpening the note ….others may have same problem. So I retuned E string with capo on 6th fret being an F#. No doubt this is to do with my old guitar having too much string height but if I lower it I get buzzing due to fret issues. My solution kind of works for now.
@fennahrob6934
@fennahrob6934 5 месяцев назад
Yes, when using a capo, retuning is essential. The strings nearly always sharpen. My solution is to pull the string quite firmly once the capo is on before retuning. This usually does the trick. 👍🏻
