Hey awesome. I had a English Translation of Retro Game Challenge 2 this thing is great for saving. I have a cartridge for the DS but it doesn't save because it's a bootleg that only plays on the Fat DS and DS Lite. The ACE3DS Plus saves but this will be a blast on TV with the NES Classic.

lol I didnt realize that DS games were so big! For the really good DS games you will most likely have to use the USB mod. The drastic emulator I sometimes have trouble with just getting to the emulator menu but over all I havent really found any unplayable games. My fav DS game is Pokemon Conquest and that takes up quite a bit of room.

Drastic download in the vid is offline. Have to use KMFD's mod hub as of 3/21/2019. Under Modules/KMFD/Special tab. Works like a charm. WebException The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. Also, some DS games are HUGE and will not fit on your SNES classic with all the other SNES games on there. FF3 and IV are both 123 mb each.

Patton, my sincere thanks for your snes videos. Been watching these the last couple of weeks and slowly building my knowledge and expanding my collection on the snes mini. Question on playing ds games, with the wii classic controller, is there a way to control stylus with right thumb stick (instead of left) and to be able to use the ZR button instead of ZL? So neat to be able to play DS on snes mini but for games like Elite Beat Agents, it would be easier if controls were right handed.

Hello, and above all, a big thank you for the work done in all your tutorials. Without you I would not have succeeded in modifying my Snes classic. Anyway, I have a question for you. Here, for the Nintendo ds emulation with the Drastic emulator, I have a problem with the disappearance of the stylus on the screen. Indeed, with the wired wii controller I can control it, but when I plug in my sn30 pro 8bitdo bluetooth wireless controller, the stylus disappears. A few button-operated controls remain functional, but no more stiletto. Would you know why? On the other hand, with the Drastic emulator I no longer have any access to Retroarch functions with the hotkey either. I do not understand anything. This is great. Thanks for sharing. One question, is there any option to make Down + Select not go into the DraStic menu or to change it to something else? Because Down + Select is the default "go back" that Hakchi assigns to the controllers when you install it.

First off i love all the videos you put out. SUPER HELPFUL!!! Second, im useing a switch pro controll with the 8bitdo receiver, i cant get the options menu to open and on heart gold i cant use the stylus. Also i tryed the second controller method and cant get a response. Is there any tips you can give me? Thank you and you rock! My NES is now my favorite console thanks to you

just for anyone wondering you can also hold down reset and this will take you into the options so you can adjust the settings accordingly

How do you manage to play mario kart ds fullscreen? When I go into the drastic menu and set it to fullscreen I get the map on full screen but not the actual track with my driver :(

Hi patton, Today i was testing some ds games on mini snes and at some point I had a few problems as i was testing.. A frozen screen blackout and the second Everything got blue.. The only thing I did was testing the 3d option but on the main menu when idle the system gave me c8 error. I'm using the console with a usb on and a good power supply. Should I get a better usb,or try to overclock it? Thank you in advance.

When i try to install Drastic on my Snes mini classic, Hakchi CE tells me that its installing and the installation finished. But if i look in my installed modules, drastic isnt there.. ive tried it 5 times with several reboots, but i cant get the drastic to my snes mini. I have 140mb left on my Snes mini Any Idea?

Great news,cheers dude,i'll be picking up the emulator on android to show my support.I was trying to get my very old pc my son uses to run NDS games a few hours ago but if the SNES mini can handle it i'll do that instead. Is there a list or anything up yet stating compatibility/100% no lag on games? How was the Castlevania emulation btw? Its one of the ones i really wanna play.

I have a question, from nes mini I use a wireless 8 dress, I start the Nintendo Ds game, everything starts but I can no longer access the drastic menu with any key combination ... before I could and I don't understand why. I also deleted the config file but nothing, the game starts but does not accept anything Following your guide in theory the dpad and the analog should go but nothing goes nothing. Something that’s odd for me is that at the top left of the screen it has the numbers 000.0%. Yours has 100% at the top. Idk if that’s what’s causing the lag or not but if someone can tell me a solution that would be great

Totally worth picking up the emulator on android guys,i was using a free one before but i got slow down. To show my support i purchased it on google play and its runs real good. I got one of those bluetooth controllers that connects to a phone holder so the experience is similar to the original DS.Well worth it.

I tried to download the Drastic Standalone Emulator like you did in the video, and it gave me an error everytime I tried to download it. Did they remove it from the newer versions of Hackchi? I've got Hackchi 3.5.2.

Can you use third party wii classic controller like the Beastron ones

After installing Super Mario World, everything works nicely except I can't access the bottom screen when I collect a power-up item from one of the mushroom houses. Is there a way to configure the controllers so that clicking two keys in unison simulates a touch of the bottom screen?

I can't help but wonder if 3DS games will ever work on the NES and SNES Classics. If I were to guess, I'd say those are probably too modern and powerful to work.

Nice to know super Mario works. I to have super Mario for DS only game I had. Then I sold game and DS few years ago when i brought Wii and later super Mario for it. can wii be run on NES and SNES Classic

@Patton Plays How did you get past the dawn of sorrow stylus moments when you are inputting the seals? I always got that it was too slow and cant change the speed of the stylus movement? I am using 2 SNES controllers, is it faster with the wii classic controller?

Shoot, you cut out of Dawn of Sorrow before you showed the stylus in action. In the game you have to draw these seals on the screen to defeat each boss. Your explanation on using an analog stick to control the stylus was fine, but I wanted to see how it worked in actual gameplay. Using the analog stick sounds clunky, and I'm not sure if it's possible to draw the more complex seals like Seals 5 and 6 using a stick in the small amount of time you're given.
