@@uise4525 sorry for the late reply lol but you can go to options,keybinds and change it. You just keep your mouse over it and then your keys I changed mine from zx to wt for stretching my fingers so you have to figure out which keys you find comfortable with then practice until your good ._.
suprised that you didn't mention (especially with how many you had in your songs library) that songs with the piano, drum, or fruit symbol aren't Osu Standard maps and if you are wanting to play just Osu Standard to avoid those. I personally love all the gamemodes but since this is a begginer tutorial for Osu Standard would be a helpful thing to mention
really has nothing to do with my comment which gamemode is the best (which is honestly a stupid argument). Just saying that for a tutorial video, mentioning it would be good. Alot of other osu Tutorials I've seen have also mentioned what the symbols mean as a way to help new players

I appreciate the thorough and kind tutorial. So many I’ve watched have been kind of condescending. I just downloaded this game today and I was unclear if you needed to click at the start and end of a slider or if you only have to hold the key down. Thanks!
You have to upp your star rating thats, what im doing and im already fcing 4 star maps. You need to upp your star but dont go all out just play 4 star and then play 4.5 star and go on. If you start fcing 4 star go to 4.5 star do that (and listen to this video)
@@DixeyDo Maybe the skin that your using is wrong. Find yourperfect skin. I cant because i change skin everyday. You can do like me or you can find your perfect. You also can change your tablet area if you have one. 1 tip i want to give you is stay consistent.
Wait are you still struggling with 3 star maps because at this point you must have played for a year now...and I started later than u and im doing 5-6 stars normally. Ask questions so we can help you get guuuudd yo ;)
I tried playing Osu 10 years ago and I loved it. I played mouse only and thought I should just get better. Years later I tried it on and off. TODAY I LEARNED it's best to use keyboard+mouse. This opened a whole new world for me. Thanks!!!
Every rhythm games has no shortcut , better start from the beginning until u get improve ur rhythm sense and muscle memory if u keep playing the game and having fun :^) *friendly reminder and suggest because i've been there before since 2017 i was new in the game*
ok so im a complete beginner, i literally downloaded osu today. i dont understand the whole hit circle thing and i can never time it right. i need someone to help me or give me details.
Osu is pretty hard for me. I've no Problems to play "10 Star Songs" in Muse Dash or in Project Diva or something similar. But i can't recognize the Beats in Osu. I need more tips. For Example: -> Do the Beatmaps follow certain rules? Than I can recognize what is going on. (Like the Multibeatplacement in Future Tone) -> How I can see Offbeats? A Beat between two regular Beats. (Like the black offbeat coloring in BanG Dream) -> The Numbers, in the Circle from Osu's Beats, how can I use it efficiently? Even if some are covered from other Beat Circle's? Or can I just only play modern rhythmgames, and I'm actually bad?
@Ichvri hm? what? That was months ago when I wrote it. My main Problem was that I played bad Maps. Osu is a community driven Rhythm Game. And when I play Maps that are not made so understandable, it is just difficult. And Osu itself make's not easier. Osu has far too few indicators. Osu is cool but I prefer to play games with my Controller and my two Thumbs anyway. But to make a Map in a Rhythm Game is really difficult. All the time I delete all of my Parts because i'm thinkink it's visible to hard or not understable. I've never reach the Difficult Nummer what I specified. -.- I'm just bad but it's super interesting. I've never unterstand why it calls a "Chart". A Chart is graphic Representation of Series of Numbers or Symbols. But the Postionplacemant of the Beats make the Chart to a Map. A Beatmap. A Chart is orderly and a Map is creative.

Thanks sooo much I was using my mouse to click. I knew something was wrong Edit: I just finished a 2 star map only after 2 dayssssss!!. Edit2: I’m on 3 stars. I can do most of them. Its only been a week.
