correct. once an airport is placed in a city, no one else can place an airport there, but it is still capable of getting landing rights using one of the other methods.

it has been a while since i have played this, so i don't recall, i think that might depend on how many people are playing. less people would involve higher scoring as there would be more routes available.

Hi and thanks for your questions and watching. 1st, when you are outbid, you remove your engineer from the area where you were outbid. You can then replay that engineer to a new area on your next turn. You could go back to the same place and try and outbid, or you can choose to go to a new location. 2nd. when claiming a route, you must have the landing rights for both cities of the route you are claiming. So you can do that by few different ways, having an airport, have that city card in your hand, discarding a card of the same color of that route, or discarding 2 cards of the same color that are not the same color as the route. So if you claim a route using cards that you are discarding, that give you the landing rights for placing the plane on that one turn, but if later you wanted to claim another route which visit the same city, if you don't have an airport there or the destination card for that city, you would need to discard new cards in order to claim the additional route. I hope that make sense. Let me know if i can help with anything else.

The directive card can be played based on what it says on the bottom of the card. So for example, if it tells you you can claim a free route at the top part of the card, and the bottom of the card say "routes D" then during the D section of the resolution phase you can play that card. Some cards are for certain sections, some are for the end of the game and so on. Once a directive card is used, it is discarded. Thanks for watching and thanks for the question!

We were confused so we limited engineers to 1 per round

Thanks for watching! if you were playing with just 2 of you, you should have 5 engineers each. During the planing phase of a round, you can claim a max of 5 routes individually, and up to 6 routes between the two players as there is space for 6 engineers in the routes section. Of course you would only want to do this if you had the items needed to claim that many routes - towers, destination cards, etc. Hope that makes sense. I too really enjoyed this game.

@@JMNCGames Ah I didn't know we needed to put engineers in routes to be able to claim one. We just skipped that and if we had the landing rights we just placed our plane. Gotta go for a rematch.

Hi and thanks for your question....are you speaking of when money is placed on a destination cards at the end of a round? If so, at the end of a round, if a destination card is not bid on, then 1 coin is placed on top of the card that wasn't selected. If in the next round somone bids on that destination and wins the bid, they would collect that money along with their destination card. If a card manages to go another round without getting selected, another coin is added and so on. This is done to entice players to bid on these cards.
